Fantastic buy

Ordered this just yesterday (on a Saturday) and it's arrived before lunch today. Incredibly fast shipping. This is my first time buying Cerave after having read plenty of good about it online (especially on a subreddit dedicated to Skincare). I've just washed my face with it for the first time and my skin feels great.

I'll update this review later once I've tried it for a few days!

===UPDATE===

This has done absolute wonders for my skin, my spots are dissapearing more and more each day, and I'll definitely be buying this one again.

so when this is on my face it feels like i’m only rubbing moisturiser on my face it’s a unpleasant feeling after 60 secs of cleansing with this i dermaplaned my face only to find traces of dirt left and chunks of foundation. Very upset with this considering the price point especially!

Bad skin reaction

I bought this product because I sometimes suffer with dry skin but it’s not particularly sensitive I just wanted something fragrance free that won’t cause irritation. Unfortunately I got the opposite and I soon realised that I had an allergic reaction to it, so stopped use. It may be that I’m allergic to 1 ingredient I’m not sure as I’ve seen so many good reviews but I’ve also seen so many refer to having a reaction. My skin had red bumped hives and I’ve not reacted to any product in this way before. Really disappointed that I’ve wasted £10 although it’s not all about the money it’s about my skin being so sore and dry for days now. That photo was about 3 days after too. It’s still on the mend!

ay cuh man was usin this for like 3 weeks now. dis shi got me messed up fr. broke me out on the first day and i assumed i was purging. I kept using this and yet mans skin wasnt allowing it. i swear its bare weird tryna wash ur face with it, u cant even see it. doesnt foam or anything like the others. its basically a wash off lotion lmao. If ur skin is next level dry, like NEXT level. then get it. if ur skins a little bit dry then dont get it. trust.

So I gave this product a chance after seeing someone mention its a good affordable cleanser, so I used for 3 weeks after a couple of days it started making me breakout and I thought maybe it just because I change cleanser. So I kept to it for 3 weeks but my gosh I've never had spots that bad since high school honestly it destroyed my skin, as soon as I went back to my old cleanser my skin returned to normal. I then went on Google and saw it had happened to others so down the sink it went I wouldn't even give it away

I'm a huge cerave fan and everything else I have used from them has worked for me, apart from this.

I bought it once and it burned when I used it. I thought it was just me and gave it away. Being the big fan of cerave that I am, I bought it again about a year later to try it again just in case 😂 it did the same thing. It is a very popular cleanser and I couldn't believe that it wouldn't work for me but you can't win them all. I'll still buy the rest of cerave products (SA face wash, SA moisturising cream and foot cream, PM moisturiser and so on, they're all favourites of mine).

So I was hopping for it be actual cleanser but it only feels like I am putting lotion on my face even though it says -Cleanser. Not foaming and when ,I am done with washing ,alot of make-up stays behind. Even when I rubbed. I had many face cleansers before that moisturize and also removes the dirt and makeup. This is just fail all the way around. Waste of money.

The bottle I received was printed in a foreign language - Russian? I couldn't read ANY of it so didn't know if I was supposed to use this like soap or use it as a cleanser to be wiped off with a cotton pad. Not happy that I am using a product on my face that could be saying anything on the bottle.

This RUINED my skin. I had such a bad break out, so many spots my face was sore. I decided to keep using it to give it a fair go but my skin just got worse and worse with acne. I stopped using it and went back on to nip & fab and my skin cleared up straight away- no more spots. Everyone’s skin is different so it might work for you but Iv been left with acne scars!

Had quite problematic skin through my teenagehood which I recently finally managed to fix with proper skincare routine. Ran out of my cleanser, decided to try this one out as apart from cleansing I am using moisturizers daily too. After a few days of use the whole healing result was absolutely destroyed and I am back to my spotty bumpy skin I've had before.
It's the first time moisturizing treatment done something so bad for my skin so it is definitely not my skin type problem as I have checked it before buying.
Moreover,after applying the product and washing it away the skin just never feels clean - it suddenly becomes all oily like all your pores are completely clogged and you need to wash it over and over to get rid of the feeling.
Not buying again, still have nearly full bottle I am never going to use.
