Expensive but definitely worth it

I don’t usually write product reviews but this treat pouch is the best I’ve tried (and I’ve tried a few). I was initially put off by the high price but having spent quite a bit of money on various other pouches that didn’t quite do the job I thought I’d try it. First impressions are that it feels well made and high quality. Discreet colour, which is nice. It has a solid clip. The belt loops are securely attached. The belt expanded enough to fit me (size 18) and has at least another 6 inches to spare. The belt is red, but you can easily hide it by pulling a top over the top or swap it for your own belt. The bag fits enough treats for a day (I have a reactive collie that I’m trying to teach that noises/strangers = good) and is the perfect size for me but may not be big enough for a large male hand. Fits treats and poo bags, which is all I need for a normal day, but wouldn’t be big enough to hold much else and still be able to close the pouch. The waterproof lining is easily wiped, and the poo bag holder doesn’t get in the way of putting your hand in. The magnetic clip is brilliant. I’ve tried various types of pouch and this is definitely the quickest to open to treat the dog at the right time - just slip your hand in - and the magnets seem pretty strong and snap securely closed afterwards. (No more annoying drawstrings that take too long to open so you leave them open and end up with treats all over the floor when you bend over!). Overall, I love this pouch. It could be cheaper but I’d rather have the quality, especially as it’s something I’ll be wearing every day for the next few years.

This is a well-made quality item. But the pocket for poo bags is a bit small and the top of the bag digs into your hips a bit. But on the plus side its Not too large and looks much better than the competition.

Super happy with this. Over the years I spent a lot of money and effort looking for the perfect treat bags. I went through all sorts of options, and got disappointed every time. They would be too big and bulky or difficult to get into, some would rip, others would get lost due to poor clip. I got annoyed and decided to invest into an expensive option thinking that needs to work and oh my! This is such a great bag!! Made solid, super easy to access, the closing magnet system works perfectly, I love the clip belt. Comfortable, great quality, treats are faster to access. Totally worth the money!

Looked at many other cheaper bags and this snap close magnet design is, in practice, easier than a drawstring design and this one seemed the best design but at a price. This one has a very low profile against your side and fits comfortably, pop it open with one hand and treats are easy to get too, it closes positively with a gentle tap. It seems well made and of a durable material that should last well. It's quite small, which is good so you don't overload yourself with treats and other stuff, and holds plenty treats and enough space in the tiny pocket for 3 poop bags, plenty for a long walk and not too much to weigh you down.
Been using it for 2 weeks or so and really pleased with the way it works and it's low profile fits; definitely recommend it.

They have thought of everything you would want. The opening is stiff, so it stays open wide while in use (no fumbling) and shuts in an instant due to being magnetic. It's size is big enough for any training session/walk and holds well over a cup of treats. The waterproof inner means smelly treats don't escape onto your clothes. It has a pouch for poo bags/clicker and most essentially it is washable. I find it sits nicely on my hip with a low profile so it is as unobtrusive and stylish as a treat bag can be! Love it, I don't notice it's there, I even wear it around the house so I can spot reward good behaviours. I'm really happy with my purchase and wouldn't consider using anything else or go back to smelly pockets now I have this. It is definitely worth the money if you appreciate quality and something that really is suitable for purpose. Plus it is very robust and well made, I expect it will last a long time.

Best treat bag I've used at the moment

I've only just started using this product and i like it immediately. It's good quality as are other ruff wear items. The pouch is big enough to get your hand in easily, no more fumbling to get access to treats. It comes with a belt clip and also a belt strap (haven't used that yet). The belt clip is sturdy no fear of bag falling off. Handy little pocket on the front that can fit some folded poop bags. The way the pouch closes is great, the magnetic feature means its easy to snap the pouch shut one handed so no more lost treats when on a walk or when crossing the road. Although this treat pouch is pricier than some other items, i think its well worth it.

AS a Dog owner I have had quite a few waist bags and they all have suffered from the narrow ,opening at the time which makes it very difficult to get treats out of them,.When I saw this on the Web and then could see how it would benefit getting treats out I decided to give it a go.The option so far is it is far better to get her hand into for the treats .We use a lot of treats as we are training our dog for the good Citizens awards and have to use a lot of treats to get our 2yr old attention to get her attention on either one or the other of us as her worse thing is getting her to walk to heel on a lead
The training classes we go to she has to have her attention on you all the time then keep giving treats so you need a bag to get your hand in and one that will hold plenty of treats.This bag does both a good tip although you can wash the bag out if you give Liver or cheese etc. we have found that to save keep washing it out we tend to use a small freezer bag and cut the top off it works a treat and saves you having to keep washing it out all the time Although it seems expensive it is nice and strong and should last.

I had a standard drawstring treat bag that my husky/akita pup destroyed in hours. I took a chance ordering this one, wincing at the cost, but I’m so pleased I did. 3 months on and it’s virtually like new. I wear it all day every day and have just welcomed another new puppy into the pack. I haven’t used the clip but the belt works great and is v quick to lengthen over a coat or if someone else pup sits. The one handed open/closure is amazing so you’re not fumbling to reward or worried about treats falling everywhere (or little noses stealing them!) it’s still closing securely after lots of use. Very easy to turn inside out to clean, been out in the rain and treats stay dry. Large enough to tuck a tube of liver paste in too for added recall and still be able to close and with the pocket on the front I’ve always got poo bags with me. Being on a belt it’s easy to swing out of the way if you need it to whilst knowing it’s still within reach. You get what you pay for with this bag, is highly recommend and would purchase again without hesitation. Has made training so much easier, great product.

Update, two years on and it’s still as good as when bought.

I bought this and a few other reward Pouches at the same time and it's still going strong. I train dogs professionally so it's gotten an insane amount of use in such a short time and it's not shown any signs of issues, dogs could be trying to bite it or raid and not a tear or rip in sight. Hate to admit it but it has been well worth the money, ruffwear is definitely becoming my go to dog brand

Perfect treat pouch for men with bigger hands! After trying a few other variants I found it was always a struggle or a faff getting the treats out with most pouches being the typical round top opening and pull cords getting in the way or the pouch being too deep to easily get treats out! The design of this pouch being wider and on a hinge system means its easy to open and access treats! The hinge means the pouch can stay open for quick access during training which is a great feature! Build quality and materials used also reassures me this will last as well! Expensive but worth the price in the long run!

Ideal bag to keep treats for training. Easy to access and keep fresh treats in a little plastic bag inside the treat bag is still easy to get at and pre longs the need to keep cleaning. Feels well made and that it will last long than other makes have done in the past, just very pricy however if it lasts then I’m sure it will pay for itself!
