This gel was recommended by my doctor.
I have a back injury, and this is what I use before strengthening exercises and stretches.
As well as cooling, it contains diclofenac which is a topical anti inflammatory.
Definitely recommend.

Applicator was missing

I paid a higher price for this Voltarol package because it stated that it came with an applicator. The package that was sent was not the same as the one that was pictured and did not contain any applicator.

More effective than oral medications for back pain, but where was the applicator?

I have chronic back pain, and this stuff combined with a good TENS machine certainly helps. (Do not buy those cheap things that auto shut-down after a few mins as they are useless. They need to run for hours to have any lasting effect.) My disappointment in this instance is that my purchase was not as advertised, i.e. NO APPLICATOR which was something I was keen to try; so my advice has to be to buy from here only on the value of the cream, and not for the applicator, as you might not get it.
