I received these (without mic version) as a Christmas present and I think that they're excellent for any money let alone £11! They don't leak noise, sound is clear and bass level is amazing, so deep in fact that I had to reduce the bass on the equaliser. The build quality seems very good with the headphone housings, the gauze across the headphone speaker and the jack connector all made from metal instead of plastic, and the cable is reassuringly thick. I've never spent a lot on headphones I use for the daily commute and I've had similar earbuds made by Phillips, Skullcandy, Sony and Sennheiser ranging between £15-£35, but they've never come close to the sound and build quality of these.

The left earpiece will start to dip in volume after the first four weeks of use. Sound quality in that ear will then decrease steadily over the next week, until you can't hear anything from the affected earpiece even with the relevant channel boosted to maximum volume.

One failure could have been just a random bit of bad luck. Two pairs suffering the exact same fault, in the exact same time frame, with other reviews corroborating it? That's shoddy manufacturing.

I've had earbuds from the pound shop that lasted longer than this in rough conditions. Look elsewhere.

These are great value for money. Sounds perfect on my MP3 player and tab. Nice bass and decent volume. Next day delivery with Amazon Prime. It also comes with a variey of ear buds so you can be sure of a good fit in the ears. I also have to say they come in a smart box, it just feels good qualiy. I'd recommend the earphones, no question.

You won't get better sound quality under thirty quid

These are as close to audiophile quality as you're going to get under thirty pounds. There are others which equal them or come close - SoundMagic is a good example - but for the price on offer on the day of purchase (£8.50 on limited offer, £9.99 normal price Nov 2021), they represented superb value for money.

Fit is excellent for me. The medium silicone tips fitted me (white male 50) just fine, comfortable with great, and I mean great, sound. Smaller and larger silicone tips were also provided, plus some more rigid black plastic tips, a little carry pouch and a detachable collar clip.

Build quality is pretty high for the price. Solid metal backs, tangle-free plastic cables, strain relief at both ends and at the mid-point. Solid metal 3.5mm jack housing and midpoint. No volume control nor mic on the model I ordered, exactly as I expected.

Note that the metal backs do protrude a bit more than some other models. If you are intending to lie down on your side with your head on a pillow, I can imagine that they wouldn't be comfortable; try SoundMagic E10 or E14.

They're not actively noise cancelling, but I found the fit so good that they were sufficiently sound-isolating at medium volumes, that my family and work colleagues resorted to tapping me on the shoulder.

I got these with a huge discount, so not sure how they rank against other products in their price range, but I'm very happy with them.

I like that they come with replacement silicone tips in the standard size, as well as a pair of bigger and smaller ones.

These earphones look pretty good in person, the metal bits especially.

It's a bit odd that they don't tell you which earbud is left and which is right. Of course, they fit the same, so for me not having to search for a tiny letter on each one just made life easier. I suppose the direction of sound mostly matters in video games rather than music and other audio. But it's easy to switch them around if need be.

Ordered these earphones to use on an old iPod Classic that I recently updated with new music. When they arrived I was impressed with both the packaging and the look and feel of the earphones themselves. For the price I was pleasantly surprised.
Sound wise, I didn’t expect too much, but was amazed at the tone and the bass I experienced. Not noise cancelling, but come with a variety of different size buds which should fit all ranges of ear sizes.
Overall an excellent product, way beyond my expectations. Even came with a 3.5 mm to lightning connector which means I can use them with my iPhone

Brilliant earphones. I was sceptical about buying Betron because I'd never heard of them. I was swayed by the reviews on Amazon which I hoped were genuine.

I can tell you that the reviews are spot on.

They sound great, bass is good, they are comfy to wear and don't fall out, the cord doesn't tangle, and as I am writing this on bonfire night, they definitely block out the bangin' fireworks! I'm a fan and would get them again.

You have to fit them well in to your ears then the sound is full and immersive. However, I use them whilst walking and find that they cut out all extraneous noises which can be a bit dangerous. Also the wire seems to relay noises when rubbing on what I am wearing, probably being transferred up the wire. An odd effect which i can remove by holding wire away from clothing. These little niggles apart, I find them excellent to use but maybe better for indoor use.

The headphones provide good clear sound quality. My only problem is personal, as I find they slip out of my ears too easily but I can't fit the alternative-sized ear pieces on at all. It's a good idea to provide different sizes but I just can't get them to slip onto the ear socket. So I manage with the original size, b.ut it would have been better if I could change to a better fit. As I say, this is my own personal issue, and I would certainly say that the headphones themselves are excellent quality.
