I've been off work with depression since last year after having to change my medication. I got to the stage where I was stable but still had really low mood.
It was suggested that I get a blood test for vitamin d deficiency. (apparently most people in the UK are during winter) My results came back that I could benefit from a vitamin d supplement.

Since I've been taking it, I've been feeling significantly better. It's only been a week or so since I got these, and I've been concerned in case it was the placebo effect, however this is the longest period for a long time that I've felt this good. I'm even starting back at work next week.
I'm aware this sounds a bit like a 'miracle cure' or something, but this has been my experience so far!
Excellent stuff.

Just taking it whenever i remember to do so, not every day.

I guess just incase Mr Coroni comes knocking - although i read in the UK, People under 60 with no underlying issues (out of 46million people) only 388 died from C19! Seems like on its own, to anyone under 60, its not very 'deadly' so you'd think they would release the shackles and get the country going again - over 60/70/vulnerable to shield / lockdown.

Easy to swallow. Oversized bottle isn't 'compact by design' though!

The packaging is 'compact by design'.
However, I disagree. I took a photo of the contents BEFORE a single capsule was taken. In my opinion, the packaging is too big for the contents, especially when it's marketed as not being oversized.
That's what lost this product a star.

Anyway, the positives - the capsules are small and an easy shape to swallow.
I haven't noticed any aftertaste, though I've been quick to swallow them.

The bottle has a glued disc under the cap, so you can see that it's not been tampered with.
I would recommend not pulling the disc off the top of the bottle, but peeling it back a little. That would control the flow of capsules.

I removed the disc to photograph the pills inside, as I was expecting it to be nearly full, not just over half full (if it wasn't advertised as 'compact by design', I wouldn't be so annoyed with the oversized bottle).

be aware of dosage

these seem to be genuine and helpful for winter months in low-sun environments (like the UK); quite small gel caps so super easy to swallow; no weird taste or smell, so the family likes them
however, be aware of the dosage ! read up on the topic for yourself but essentially the NHS says "You should take 10 micrograms (400 IU) of vitamin D a day between October and early March to keep your bones and muscles healthy."; these are 4000 IU per pill (so 10 times more than recommended); the human body will store excess vitamin D in fatty tissue (liver etc) so you can overdose if you go crazy; on the other hand it means one pill is enough for a week, so taken that way this box will last for the entire family for a long time

I haven't really taken them for long enough to know if they are doing any good, but was requested to leave feedback. I'm sure they will help to keep my Vitamin D levels stable over time, and then hopefully I may feel less tired, and more energised. I am updating my original feedback. I've been taking them for a few months or so now, and I feel less tired, and haven't suffered a cold since taking them. Fingers crossed, so far I am very impressed and based on how I feel now I will continue to buy them once these run out.

The item arrived on time. However, the shells/capsules themselves are made from bovine gelatine and so are not suitable for vegetarians. Is this the sellers fault? Not really as in hindsight I should have searched the Q&A.

However, as some manufacturers put the veg approved badge on their products, I believe the seller could have done something similar on the item description page - a veg approval badge with a red cross.

exellent product and at a decent price i would recomend.
but i find liquid vit D3 is easyer to to take and absobed better but swollowing oil is not for everyone.
one thing to bear in mind unlike a lot of other vitamins you can take as much as you like or you need which veries between one person and the next. but if like myself you are not getting out much or you live in england i would say more is better than less.

They've definitely helped but not a magic bullet. I can't really go out in the sun as I'm sensitive to sunlight so I think these tablets are the best option.
