This product did leave my very curly hair straighter, and made it easier to re-straighten, however every time my hair got wet it gave me a terrible headache and nausea. Straightening or blow drying my hair also gave me the same. I began the process of trying to get this product out after just a couple of days, because I felt sick whenever I was breathing in. I rinsed repetitively with SLS containing products, used salt baths etc, however overall it took me months to get this product out and fully loose the horrible chemical being released. Doing a little research *at first* I suspected that the guilty chemical to be phenoxyethanol, which can acutely affect the function of your nervous system, and is restricted to 1% in products in the EU. I don’t know what percentage is in this, but it was listed on the ingredients when I bought this. Now I think it may actually be formaldehyde (even worse) due to my symptoms... Please people, look into formaldehyde and keratin treatments... So then all I can end with is this made me sick and I believe this product is dangerous, despite all the natural ingredients they are using to cover this dodgy chemical. Even if you don’t have a reaction to the smell or any nausea, I don’t recommend using this because it may still be doing damage that is less visible over time.
