Goes on matte but needs blotting later

Positives:
+ Sprays on matte
+ Easy to apply - encourages reapplication (important!)
+ Does not disrupt make up
+ Hyaluronic acid is a great moisturiser, you'll need it in the sun!

Negatives:
- By the end pf the day I found my skin was much greasier than normal
- Although it seemed fine for my eyes at first, eventually it did start to sting if I rubbed my eyes
- Only three star UVA protection, generally 4 stars is recommended

Summary:
If you wear make up and/or tend to be lazy about reapplying, I recommend using this spray. Later in the day you will have to blot and you will have to take care not to rub your eyes when you're tired. Bearing in mind that reapplying sunscreen is often overlooked, these are small compromises to ensure you're properly protected.

Tip:
This sunscreen is great value for the face, but body mists are cheaper/larger bottles. Use this one for the face and find a cheaper mist for the body, where you don't need the mattifying element so much.

unreliable sun protection on it's own.

I bought this sun screen spray to apply over my makeup as a top up during the day and to set my face makeup. I usually wear another suncream underneath my makeup.
Im asian-tan skin.Very mild acne. Very sensitive and prone to hypermigmentation and sunspots. I wear suncream all year round.

Unfortunately my usual suncream had run out (I buy online as it's very difficult for me to find a reasonably priced suncream that doesn't leave a white cast or break me out) So I did not have an extra protection for about 2 weeks. My foundation has spf20 and then I was using this as added protection ontop.

PROS:
No White-cast
Easy to Apply over make up
Light weight
Did not break me out like other suncreams
Reasonably priced per ml compared to La Roche Posay/ Avene/Eucerine sun spray mists.

It did 'set' my makeup somewhat. And definitely did not seem to break me out. However, I do not feel I can't rely on this solely as a sun protection. The two weeks I had used this without my usual suncream, I developed hyper pigmentation on my forehead and 2 sun spots on my nose. I have an oily t-zone so I'm guessing this just sweated-off.

CONS:
Not Sweat Proof/waterproof
Runs out quickly (I had about 2.5 weeks daily use of 2-3 times a day)
Unreliable sun protection on it's own
Cannot tell if all areas have been sprayed properly as there is little/no wet mist.

You can't tell if you've applied it correctly. I spray it about 10-15cm all over my face and neck. But you can't really feel anything or see anything.
It's ok for topping up during the day over your makeup. But do not rely on it on it's own. It's a good concept, but the actual spa element could be improved. I will not buy again and look for alternatives.

I bought this sun mist last year specifically for use over make up so I have all day protection when I'm out and about in the sun with full make up on. I have very pale, sun sensitive skin and I've never burnt my face with this product. It's not greasy at all, I hate the feeling of greasy sun protection. When I spray this on my face it almost feels powdery. My make up doesn't run when applied. I think it's great and a nice size to pop in your handbag. Just make sure you close your eyes when applying

I have Fitzpatrick skin type 4 and I’m always on the hunt for a sunscreen that doesn’t leave me looking like a ghost. Although this one does have a bit of a white cast, in general it blends in very well and looks good under makeup. Very easy to apply and excellent UV protection. My one comment would be that it can look a bit greasy on the skin, so if you already have very oily skin then this isn’t for you. I personally liked that it made me have a bit more of a glow. Other than that, I honestly can’t fault it for the price as well.

A decent spf for over makeup

I bought this as an extra spf I can keep in my bag for on the go. I use it when wearing makeup or just being lazy and don’t want to rub in cream on my face.
It’s a chemical sunscreen so right off the bat it smells like any other chemical sunscreen - not great but not the worst I’ve come across.
I don’t use it often but still seem to go through the product quite quickly which is one thing to note.
On occasions I’ve found I’m left with white dots over my face where the spf is sitting and then need to pat it in to remove which is a pain.
I’d recommend this for occasional use due to its ease of reapplying throughout the day but not for people wanting this as their main spf.

I’m 25 and for the past 3 years I’ve been learning about sun protection (shame on me). I used the La Roche Posay SPF50 which was quite pricey then I discovered the fuild Garnier which works absolute wonders. Just came back from a very hot and sunny holiday where I used a combination of these 2 (the fuild and spray top up) and I have absolutely no tan which is what I wanted so it works!

Doesn’t leave the face greasy and it’s very comfy on the skin (I have combination skin but believe this would work on oily as well)

I spent forever looking for a spray on sunscreen that I could use to top up my sunscreen without messing up my makeup, and this is perfect.

Lots of spray on sunscreens are more like 'squirt on' sunscreens, where you spritz it and end up with wet patches, dry patches, and uneven coverage. This product has a continuous spray of fine mist so you get a nice even coverage.

Big fan of this. I’m as pale as they come so trying to get in the habit of applying this as part of my everyday routine in the morning.

Very light, doesn’t feel oily, and doesn’t leave a white cast. I don’t wear much makeup but on the occasions I’ve applied this over it I’ve not noticed it having any effect on how my foundation etc looks. Sometimes I do blink too soon after and get a mascara print but it’s only like letting mascara dry anyway.

This sun protection is high, lightly scented (but not like sun cream) and works has a cooling mist as well! It works well over and under make up so can be reapplied all day without ruining make up, but the next part is the cooling sensation it provides when it’s hot!
