Goes on matte but needs blotting later

Positives:
+ Sprays on matte
+ Easy to apply - encourages reapplication (important!)
+ Does not disrupt make up
+ Hyaluronic acid is a great moisturiser, you'll need it in the sun!

Negatives:
- By the end pf the day I found my skin was much greasier than normal
- Although it seemed fine for my eyes at first, eventually it did start to sting if I rubbed my eyes
- Only three star UVA protection, generally 4 stars is recommended

Summary:
If you wear make up and/or tend to be lazy about reapplying, I recommend using this spray. Later in the day you will have to blot and you will have to take care not to rub your eyes when you're tired. Bearing in mind that reapplying sunscreen is often overlooked, these are small compromises to ensure you're properly protected.

Tip:
This sunscreen is great value for the face, but body mists are cheaper/larger bottles. Use this one for the face and find a cheaper mist for the body, where you don't need the mattifying element so much.

unreliable sun protection on it's own.

I bought this sun screen spray to apply over my makeup as a top up during the day and to set my face makeup. I usually wear another suncream underneath my makeup.
Im asian-tan skin.Very mild acne. Very sensitive and prone to hypermigmentation and sunspots. I wear suncream all year round.

Unfortunately my usual suncream had run out (I buy online as it's very difficult for me to find a reasonably priced suncream that doesn't leave a white cast or break me out) So I did not have an extra protection for about 2 weeks. My foundation has spf20 and then I was using this as added protection ontop.

PROS:
No White-cast
Easy to Apply over make up
Light weight
Did not break me out like other suncreams
Reasonably priced per ml compared to La Roche Posay/ Avene/Eucerine sun spray mists.

It did 'set' my makeup somewhat. And definitely did not seem to break me out. However, I do not feel I can't rely on this solely as a sun protection. The two weeks I had used this without my usual suncream, I developed hyper pigmentation on my forehead and 2 sun spots on my nose. I have an oily t-zone so I'm guessing this just sweated-off.

CONS:
Not Sweat Proof/waterproof
Runs out quickly (I had about 2.5 weeks daily use of 2-3 times a day)
Unreliable sun protection on it's own
Cannot tell if all areas have been sprayed properly as there is little/no wet mist.

You can't tell if you've applied it correctly. I spray it about 10-15cm all over my face and neck. But you can't really feel anything or see anything.
It's ok for topping up during the day over your makeup. But do not rely on it on it's own. It's a good concept, but the actual spa element could be improved. I will not buy again and look for alternatives.

For the sun protection, I can't comment, it seems to work but I live in Scotland and the weather this year so far has been crap, so no chances to test it out. In any case, I just want some SPF not for sunburn but just to protect skin.

The application of the spray, I'm not sure it works well. For the face,I think a good moisturising cream with SPF is better. The spray isn't well dispersed, and I've ended up with little white droplets all over my make up/hair (and it claims you can apply it on top of make up). Was worth a try but I'll be going back to an SPF moisturising cream like the CeraVe one.

I got this to use on a camping holiday in Devon walking the coastal paths and being on the beach as I have patches of hyperpigmentation. I applied a mineral spf under my makeup and wore a hat so this was just for top-ups. It's a handy size for carrying around but it runs out really quickly and you need to apply quite a bit to make sure you've covered your whole face. I found it was ok over light makeup but after a few days use my skin was red and sore. Initially I thought the product hadn't worked and I'd been sunburned but it turned out to be the product irritating my skin. I also found it got really greasy after more than one application. I'll stick to SPF sticks which I think provide better protection and are easier to apply outdoors.

This spray is quite hideous. You spray it on your face and it will knock you out from the sheer force it comes out and the amount of fragrance.

After using it once, I started spraying onto my hand then rubbing into my face as it just doesn’t spray well at all.

I find it super impractical as a product as it also doesn’t have many sprays in it. It probably has enough for one full body spray over so I wouldn’t recommend it for that.

It's hard for me to find spf that doesn't break me out. I have been using this to top up over my La roche posay oil free spf and it worked decently well. however it only lasted me a week....Not worth the price for how often you have to replace it. it's hard to get an even layer as it sprays in a weird way. At some points you can feel the wetness and at others it's just air coming out. Strange nozzle.

Given this 2 stars. I'm sure its fine in terms of SPF however I purchased this so that I could reapply sunscreen over my make up and it just isn't suitable. This made my mascara, clump and breakdown resulting in mascara running onto my face. It also made me look really shiny and greesy. Would not recommend!
