Ive tried a fair few cat litters over the last 10 years and more recently a good number of biodegradable ones. This is by far, the best cat litter I have ever used and I pray they don't ever stop selling it.
Firstly, it's biodegrable and made from recycled newspaper. There's no dust! Nothing, not a spec! Which is great for my partner's asthma and the cat's asthma.
It doesn't track around the house - there are maybe 5 little pieces that will be just outside the tray, but that's it. Which is an incredibly welcome change from the stones that end up everywhere like little lego bricks and the plant based that stuck to all the cats bedding and throws.
It can't mould and won't get beetles. Be careful of grain/plant based litter.
It absorb so much and there's less odour than any other litter I've tried. You do scoop up more and throw it out, but it's really cheap and not bad for the environment so it doesn't really matter.
The cats really like it and it's easy to tell what is still clean and what isn't.
Genuinely love this stuff and about to order more. Two bags last me about a month for two cats and two trays.

*** please be aware that the good reviews are reviewing a different type of litter. The litter that actually arrives is a light rolled up paper type pellet**

The pellets are large, so when trying to sift out the poo with the scooper it’s tricky.
Can’t tell where the dirty pellets are so end up replacing the whole tray.
It’s smells DISGUSTING.

End up having to just throw half the litter away each time so you go through it really quickly.
It’s not cost effective and it doesn’t mask the odour so well.

It’s the worst litter I’ve used to be honest and the least hygienic.
My kitten hates it too, he used to sing while he did his business and now he just glares at me in disgust

I cant give it zero stars....absolutely minging, do not cover the odour, it is soaked wet with my cat going in twice. Smell stinks! I’m using a different brand which covers all the smells and can’t even notice the cat litter is in the house. I was giving a try to other brands because the one I use is clamping and a bit difficult to remove but works wonders with the length of time it covers the smell.
This one you are selling is a joke, half the size and very expensive for what it does! I will never buy ever again!!!

I used this for my stinky old male rats to try and reduce the smell. this works great and keeps smells down (I imagine if it works for my rats it will work for cats too). has a very slight scent to it, but nothing excessive or strong making it suitable for my rats sensitive respiratory system. great product, good price, and speedy delivery. would definitely buy again (and may do so next payday!)

Feel like this is the cat litter I’ve been waiting for! It’s so absorbent and has zero smell. It easy goes into a bag leaving little residue in litter tray. Only a small portion of cat litter is on floor when my cat gets out of tray whereas with other ones he carries it all over the house in his feet. I will be purchasing this from now on.

This litter is not as good as i expected it to be. It doesn't smell very nice when wet, it stays wet too. It doesn't mask any poo sent what so ever & it keeps the poo wet! Not easy to pick up on the scoop as it just stays wet. I won't be buying this again & i really don't recommend it to anyone.

This is the best cat litter I've ever brought! I only brought this as a last minute option because I needed litter delivered by a certain date but it's ended up the best one. There was no odour in the room the cat litter tray is in or the rest of the property (since cat litter smell tends to spread throughout the place). I found it easy to clean out also. Unfortunately I'm using up the one I normally use & now my place stinks :(

I thought I would try this from the eco perspective but I was disappointed. It stayed very wet which in turn spread to wet the unsoiled litter making it unpleasant ..... my cats would avoid it. The smell wasn’t great and I needed to clean and change the tray much more frequently to keep it more pleasant. I will revert to using the eco wood pellets.

He sure is a cowboy, it's like playtime with this cat litter as 'Pep' likes to flick this litter all over the place and for no purpose other than to give me a job to do.

So, what's this cat litter like? Well, it's very light and made of recycled paper, looks like grey wood pellets but of the paper kind. So if you have issues lifting heavy cat litter then this stuff is ideal.

But, is it good at odour control? To some extent, the tip here is not to just use this litter on its own, I place a layer of this stuff in the tray then use some normal cat litter, what's normal you may ask, well I consider the likes of Catsan to be normal. This way, one gets to bulk out the cat litter tray and keep the odour under control which works very well I may add and saves me a few bob in the long run.

The trays come out rather clean when emptying so I can't complain at all.

So remember the huge tip, mix this stuff with other litter and you're on to a winner.

However, 'Pep' is aware I place these paper pellets at the bottom of the litter tray and purposely digs them out every time I empty the trays and refill them. He has no intention of using the trays, he just goes in to just flick the stuff everywhere.

I change the tray on a daily basis, mostly in the evenings and I've had no issues with odour, unless of course I'm late home from work and I haven't adhered to Pep's 'cat litter changing schedule', then the floor becomes fair game and odour control goes out the window!

I've even had friends round and when I asked if they thought I had cats they always say my house doesn't smell of them but the shredded stairs carpet, clawed bannister and wallpaper is a big giveaway!

So I will continue to buy this litter not just to use for the cat litter trays but also to amuse 'Pep' and to give me some exercise.

Oh, these pellets have a habit of blocking a handheld vacuum cleaner, just saying!

I'm a noobie at this cat owning lark, in fact I technically don't own one, he just moved into my shed...! Anyway, I first used a wood fibre litter which he seemed to like, and I liked as there was absolutely no smell and it was a doddle to clean the tray. This stuff, my goodness, his litter stank like he'd been out for 15 pints and a curry the night before (maybe he had... I don't know.. he's an outdoor cat, I don't know what he does at night and if I ask he just says I can't tell him what to do because I'm not his real mum). Nice eco idea but I have to go back to the wood fibre, sorry!
