Bought this model in October 2018 and it's been great. I buggered it up by using it after the fabric came apart; wrapping itself around the rotating nodes and breaking the plastic cogs inside.
So, ordered the identical model and, it's not the same. Externally it's identical but, the motor is much less powerful and so it labours when you lean back against it.
I could not overstate how good the old one was. The new one; I'd not recommend it. Gutted.

I’ve suffered with tension in my neck and shoulders for years. The occasional deep tissue massage when I was able to afford it gave relief for a few days and then the pain would return. I purchased this shiatsu massager cushion a couple of days ago. The first five minutes or so was extremely painful and I did wonder whether I had made a big mistake, when suddenly the pain became pleasurable and then the pain diminished and the warm massaging became blissful. I have used it upon waking and before going to sleep and can honestly say that I wish I’d invested in one years ago. I’m without pain in my neck and shoulders for the first time in I can’t remember how long.

If you decide to use the heat setting, do ensure that you are wearing clothing as it could mark bare skin as it does get very warm!

Overall I am very pleasantly surprised by just how good this actually is.

The item is not of great quality. The massager itself is good and does the job. Unfortunately the quality of the cover is bad and ripped after only 3 month of use.

EDIT: After my complaint I got contacted immediately and their customer service is exceptional. I have updated my rating as I believe products can sometimes have faults, important is how it's dealt with. This company has provided outstanding customer service! I had a replacement free of charge within 3 days!
Again, the massager itself is a great tool and works well. The fabric on my first one seemed to have an issue, but the rectification was great and I can only recommend the company.

I have extremly Tight Knots in my shoulders & back. This pillow is brilliant. Iv had to do the rounds of asking family members to dig their elbow into my shoulders & just try to get those knots out 😣. To the relief of myself & my family. I no longer need to do this 😉. The only thing about this is; that I wish I got it YEARS AGO. I cannot tell you enough, it will work wonders on you, if it could for me. I used mine for about an hour & my muscles are tender & sensitive just like they are, right after a massuse. Thats what we want 😆 Right!! Also the heat setting is actually really good, I assumed that it would be slightly warm, and Im happy to say I was very wrong. It gets hot, but in a good way, you wont need to use the heat setting for long & it does its job... Im placing in my second order tomorrow for one for my dad. Its brilliant. In fact, If I was you. Id get yours quick because im going to have all of them bought out for my family 😂!!!! That is how good this really is. Iv tried so many other things, and this is so well reasonably priced which makes the product that much better.

My back has been aching like crazy lately, between Covid stress, work-related things and suddenly having to find a new apartment at short notice. I had a back massager 20 years ago which never worked well and just felt painful, with the material just pinching my skin. Technology has come a long way though, I honestly can't believe how well this works by comparison.

Lower, middle or upper back/neck, it does the job perfectly. The heat element is never too intense, and you can lean more directly into the unit for varying degrees of pressure. I lay flat against it since I require a rigorous massage with a high level of strength to work out all the scar tissue and knots. Can't recommend it enough, I lay back watching Netflix last night after a solid day of moving heavy boxes around, and my back felt pain-free for the first time in probably over a year.

I have reoccurring lower back pain stemming from an old weight lifting injury with which my lower back muscles tighten up and become very painful and prevent me from exercising. Last time it occurred I went to a sports therapist who did a brilliant job or sorting it out but was expensive, so instead of going for a third visit I bought this as I still had a bit of back pain. I’m glad I did, it’s kept my muscles from tightening up again and I use it nearly every day and am back doing my normal exercise. It’s surprising forceful getting right in there where needed, you can also lean on it less for a lighter massage. It’s also very easy to use. It may not be quite as good as a professional therapist but it's a pretty good subsitute nonetheless and a lot cheaper!

Incredible! I had been experiencing a lot of pain in my heel for months and needed to wear a silicone padded heel cushion to walk about fairly comfortably. One night of two 15 minute foot massages with this and the pain has virtually gone! I also used it to massage my back. This is great as you can move it up and down as you wish. I want to have one of these to turn to for the rest of my life. Can't recommend highly enough!

i bought this as a gift and it is absolutely incredible, really recommend it, however it broke after 6 months, I have tried multiple times to get in touch with customer service, I have emailed and they said they would organise a replacement yet it has been months and I have heard nothing since.

I really want to recommend this, but the customer service has really let me down, they were eager to help initially, but this was forgotten and now I am quite frustrated.
