Great for Afro hair! Buy it ladies! Great deal

I saw an Instagram review from Eternal Band Kellie Bryan so I ran and ordered mine! During this COVID-19 lockdown I was forced to remove my braids and do my own hair! The result were amazing smooth and straight! I have type 4 hair and although I enjoy wearing my hair in its natural state I thought I would use the extra time to trim my ends which it easier to see on straight hair. This little inexpensive gem did the job and lasted for 2 weeks! A must buy for Afro Ladies!

Basic but good untill they broke.

Not so great if you have long hair as it does catch hairs and pull them out. Other than that its a good little straightener.

EDIT: They've just broken today, the connection between the cord and the straightner is faulty :( only lasted 6 months.

My GHDs died so I bought these as my hair is quite thin and straight so I decided I could go with a cheaper option. OMG these are incredible. I use straighteners to get a curl as well as a blunt straight look but, due to my hair being fine and pathetic, curls rarely hold. They do with these straighteners! I've no idea why they would have such a better effect on my hair than more expensive GHDs but it's very noticeable. If you have very thick or wavy hair I can't say what these would be like but styling with these is better than more expensive models. Completely recommended.

I bought this for myself and I have been so happy with it. For less than £20 minutes his has lasted so well and I’ve loved it, buying another one for my sister as she loved using my one. I’ve recently received a new one, which has a better temperature control, but I’ve still kept this one has it’s still working as it did the day I bought it (almost 3 years later) so I’m really impressed.

These straighteners do the job very well, they smooth the hair when you straighten it leaving it feeling silky and soft. Its a very good price for a high brand straighteners that work. They heat up straight away but they dont ever get so hot it feels like its burning which is nice and it comes with a heating mat to put your straighteners on. I would highly recommend this product!

These dont straighten my hair, not smooth, feels extremely dry afterwards n looks frizzy, only used a hand full of times.. n my hair is so damaged, my hair looks as if it's been dip dyed as its absolutely frazzled, theyv ruined my hair, I read comments before buying n thought well I look after my hair dont straighten very often and use heat protection, jst want something cheap.. really wished I jst spent abit more money and took the adviceof other buyers, they snag also, every section of hair... gonna chuck them in the bin.

Bought these to replace my broken GHD's (did not want to pay hundreds for a new pair at the moment) but I won't be buying any GHD's as these are so much better than them. This has the two temperature controls and they are easy to use with a long cable, they are great at straightening and I also used them this morning to curl my hair and they work fabulously for this too!

Overall very impressed and they don't take long to heat up either too. They are amazing and extremely affordable. Would highly recommend to anyone who is wanting new straighteners. Buy them you wont regret it.

Doesn’t get hot enough to straighten thick hair properly

Brought these when my straighteners broke, can’t go a day without straightening my hair so needed to order in prime next day delivery and couldn’t afford expensive 1s so went for these, shouldn’t complain really because they were only 16pound but they do not heat up very much to straighten my hair as good as my others did although they are lighter than my others which is good, they would probably be good for someone with fine hair but mine is quite thick so this is probably why they don’t work so well in my hair. There are two heat settings.

I ordered these straighteners after reading the reviews. I had some Mark Hill cordless straighteners that had lasted me for years. It's hard to find cordless straighteners now but I saw some revamp ones and asked my husband to buy me them for Christmas they were just shy of £100. They were also absolute rubbish, so much so that I've thrown them away. Obviously didn't want to splash out too much money again on new ones so thought would try these at a a fifth of the price, if they were no good could always save up for some GHD's. I have to say they are brilliant and get my hair really straight. Am loving them right now!!! Heat up quickly, lovely long cable and it comes with a heat pad so no damage to the dressing table.
