Oh Sheet, my printer ran out of paper.

We print a lot at home. Mostly children’s home work assignments and for craft purposes. The printing never ends and paper is always running out.
I now ordered this friendly-priced stack of branded HP paper. It’s good paper. And other than the cheaper, very thin sheet option from the high street discount store; it doesn’t jam in the printer.

Yet when I put it in the pinter, a message kept flashing: I just can’t get enough. Turned out the printer was in depeche mode…

I am disappointed as I was expecting 500 sheets x 5 teams
I feel the description is slightly misleading as you receive 500 sheets and that’s all!
Good quality but very expensive I think.
Arrived promptly though

I got this HP Printer paper as part of a purchase pack together with a HP301 ink cartridge from Amazon and it is well worth it because not only does it work well with my HP Printer/scanner at home but the paper quality with my printer ink works very well without any issues. So glad I got this and being 500 A4 size paper sheets in total, I shall have enough to last me a couple of months or more depending on how often I do printing at home. Good quality paper from a very well know and popular company.

These arrive in a sturdy HP BOX, measuring around 31 cm x 22.5 cm x 25 cm ~ 5 individually wrapped reams (packs of 500 sheets).

I get through reams (!) of paper over the year, and this is my favourite brand to date.
I always stock up when on discount as it also saves me the task of lugging it in from town.

Crisp white A4 paper, of reasonable thickness which stands up well to the demands put upon it via the various printers I have access to, mainly Epson.
I cannot see a 'gsm' on my packs but I have no complaints about the quality of the finished product for simple, every day use.

Acceptable Quality But Not 'HP Quality'

From experience the name HP is often associated with quality but this paper is just run-of-the-mill and doesn't stand out from the rest (yes, clearly described as everyday ...). At 75gsm it is on the light-weight side but acceptable for everyday use particularly where draft copies are more in demand. If quality is demanded look for a slightly heavier but again you pay more.

We use this paper with Canon MP980 printer and so far had no problem of multiple-page loading or jamming. The print quality is quite acceptable and dries fast with inkjet printing. So far we used Pukka Paper, Everyday 80GSM (same in ream packs and content as the HP). When we came back to get the same, the Pukka price has gone up by about five quid so settled for the HP which at the time was on promotion and cheaper.

Without a doubt the Pukka paper at 80gsm is a better quality (also whiter) but price was a deciding factor here.

Its a no brainer the paper is top knoch does not jam like most that price. A great seller will yous all the time the bus fare and taxi bit it cost me £ 8.00 or more to go to Wilko or W H Smiths and return have this seller and amazon send it to me plus I have Prime get it next day. Basic Hp Printer Paper

Plenty of paper in this pack of 5 reams (2500 pieces of paper) and ideal for photocopies and standard printing.
Will withstand double sided printing as long as our printer is not set to 'best quality' (too much ink on either side will show through a little at 75gsm)

For anything super special I'll use 80 or 90 gsm and even A4 photo paper,but for the majority of the stuff we print just for filing and reference this serves us well regarding its price and performance.
Have not found any bad sheets in our box and it is all packed well.
If you are posting your printouts to customers or for personal official documents you may prefer a thicker paper.
My rating is based on the low cost we paid and the heavy package this is,whilst not being a bad paper to use for draft or normal printing...

Going for branded paper for your printer should be the best thing right? Wrong. This paper is the thinnest paper I've ever used in a printer and if you have more than about 5% coverage, the ink soaks in too much. The colour reproduction is poor too. It suggests the weight is 75gsm but I'd be surprised if it is. The packaging makes no mention of the weight. I've ordered the premium paper instead.

I ordered the HP Everyday Printer paper pictured, which I have found over many months works very well with my printer. However the item delivered was HP Copy paper, which has a slightly rougher texture and is a bit yellower in appearance. I will be returning the order for a refund.
