Top critical review
Good enough for the price.

Firstly, I should point out that my three star rating could easily be a 5 star rating by other customer's rating criteria. There is nothing wrong with this product, at the price point at which it is being sold, but it is an average product at an average price, so to me an average rating amkes sense.
I have rated 3 stars for material quality, sound and durability, all of which are as good as I would expect at this price point and there is nothing particularly wrong with any of these, but they are still only average. If you require better material quality, sound or durability then you will have to spend more money. All three things go hand in hand, as does the price. You won't get good sound from average quality components and average quality components will also have a tendency to be less durable than higher quality components in many cases, but no company is going to make a product using the highest quality materials and sell it at this price, because they would be losing money.
Basically, you will be getting what you pay for and for most people this will be good enough. If you are an audiophile, you will be unhappy with the sound quality, although any form of in ear/bud design will always have some comprimises in that department. Equally, if you don't have a well tuned ear or don't listen to particularly complex music, you would probably be wasting your money spending any more than this. There are plenty of options at higher prices that will not be discernably better than these and in many cases you will be paying extra for brand recognition.
I am totally happy with my purchase, because, although I appreciate better sound quality, given that I will be using these at the gym, I don't think anything currently available would be sufficiently durable to justify spending more money.
