Top critical review
1.0 out of 5 starsPoor quality

As other reviews have said, these blades are either fake or, more likely, some sort of 'seconds' or faulty batches.
Like others, I'd noticed that shave quality wasn't as good as it used to be with these blades - more nicks and cuts and rash. The blades felt blunt from new.
Today, I did a test of a brand new blade:
On each blade is a blue lubricating strip. In the manufacturer's description, it clearly states that this strip:
" ... fades to white to let you know that you are no longer getting an optimal shave, easily fixable with another Gillette Fusion Power blade."
In the manufacturer's description it also says:
"One razor blade refill equals up to one month of shaves".
I tested a new blade today - the strip was blue before I started.
I shaved with the "new" blade - a few nicks, some soreness - not as close as these blades used to shave.
At the end of the shave, the "lubrastrip" on the razor blade was almost completely white. This, according to the blurb means that I should change the blade.
I can only assume that:
(a) Gillette developers and designers only shave once a month. and/or
(b) These blades are either counterfeit or below-sales quality - "seconds" or "rejects"
Whichever is the case, I've now cancelled my subsription and I'm going try another brand or the same blades from a retail shop.
Amazon will be refunding me the cost of the last batch of blades I bought from them.
The couple of quid I can save on these blades through Amazon isn't worth the reduced quality of the product.
