Amazing dupe for Lancôme Hypnose mascara

An amazing dupe for my Lancôme Hypnose mascara - and a fraction of the cost. I layer my mascara because I like a bit of a clump but it glides nicely if you just want separated and lengthened lashes - just make sure you use the correct side of the brush. Is it called a brush? The plastic bit on the end of the wand?
Anyway, it dries out so work quickly and it’ll keep for the 6 months you should have a mascara open for. If you’re reading this and you’ve been using a mascara for longer than that, BIN IT IMMEDIATELY.

No, really. It’ll be crawling with bacteria that you’re just putting next to your eyes every day. Replace it with this mascara as it’s cheap as chips and fab! Only downside is that the tube is ridiculously shaped. Is it mascara or a space ship? Who knows.

Normally order this without any issues the product itself is fine but this time I have received the product with hair all wrapped round which makes me question how safe this product is as it could of been used

So I purchased this as I really wanted a lash primer and the reviews were relatively good. I won't lie, initially I was impressed as when you first apply this it gives both length and volume to the lash, however due to the white texture you need to apply mascara over the top. This is where It went wrong. I found my mascara harder to apply, my lashes kept sticking together creating a clumpy/spider like effect. This is not the kind of lash I like. Sadly this has now been placed to the back of my make up storage to no doubt be disposed of in due course. I would like to add I have tried 3 different mascaras over the top none of which showed promise.

Unfortunately I found this mascara difficult to apply, didn’t like the shape of the brush, found it awkward and lots of clumping, certainly didn’t give a look that was flattering.
Added to that it smudged easily and was difficult to completely remove, some came off easily but left residue on lashes that was more stubborn to remove.
Definitely not for me, maybe if you’re used to the shape brush they have you may find better success, I know it’s very personal which people prefer.

I bought this product after a great deal of hype was made over it and the reviews seemed to match. However, personally I find the mascara lacking. The wand gathers too much product, and no matter how much I try to clear the brush, it always ends up being too much, leaving me with clumpy eyelashes and a lot of smudges. Definitely no help on the length or volume of the lashes looking fuller and longer. Disappointed to say the least.

I used to absolutely love this mascara. It gave me bigger eyelashes without clumps. I used 2 different ones with no issues. Sadly, when I recently (February 2021) bought a new one, the next morning I had swollen eyelids and under eye area. After 3 days it was so bad (my eyes then started watering), that I visited my local pharmacy because I thought I had an eye infection. The pharmacist told me it didn't look like an infection and asked me if I had used any new make up. That's when I realised the eye problems started the day I had applied the new mascara. I went home, removed it, and within 2h I was completely fine. Needless to say I won't be using this product in the future. I can't help but wonder if they changed the formula recently.

I am sure it works for some people but I didn’t like it the curved brush is just hard to use and it is so difficult to get off I worry about rubbing off my eyelashes. Used a couple of times over my usual mascara to see if it made my eyelashes longer and thicker, thought it might make it easier to remove which did work but didn’t really boost the look. As a mascara that doesn’t budge/smudge I give it that but I wanted a thick long false lash eyelash look and can’t say it gave me that. Won’t buy again.

Really don't like this marcara. I have quite long lashes that take to most mascaras but this one didn't go on well, and by the end of the day I had black smudges on the top and bottom of my eyes where the lashes had sat. I don't have this problem with my other mascaras. Also very difficult to remove, I do believe I lost some eyelashes when wearing this mascara so I got rid. Adiós mascara !!

Maybelline used to have a waterproof mascara in a green tube, Marathon Mascara, that was a.may.zing. Nothing shifted it, and it looked great. Alas, it was discontinued, and NOTHING since has quite been the same. This mascara smudges, clumps, wears away to nothing, and yet still manages to be a bit difficult to remove. Would not buy again.

I was looking forward to having super lashes having read a recommendation for this product from a beauty blogger. However, it arrived sealed but on opening it had dried up. It hardly covers anything and is grainy. Complete waste of money. It’s not the first time this has happened with online purchases of mascara, maybe just a coincidence but in future I’ll stick to the big high street store. Maybe their stock turns over quicker.

I didn’t like the wand on this product, it felt like my lashes didn’t have a lot of mascara on regardless of how many times I applied it. I usually buy the maybelline yellow mascara but I fancied a change. I’ve not gone back to my old faithful mascara as it never lets me down

I always use this mascara. It is really good. However this time purchased off Amazon, has no anti tamper label on it so not happy with that. Also seems to be hardly any mascara in it. Previously purchased from Amazon and other leading chemists in the past, no problem. Won't purchase it from Amazon again.
