Brilliant stuff and really does work, when my knee injury and shoulder injury give me pain I put this on and the pain is gone for a good 12 hours. DONT overuse and dont use ibuprofen tablets when you are using this. Paracetamols are fine but you shouldnt need them as well.

Horrible Side Effects and non-recyclable

The side affects from this stuff are horrible. The dizzyness and nausia it causes alone are very unpleasant. Then you read about the "Increased risk of heart attack" and you just want to throw it in the bin.

That is of course due to none of it being recyclable due to having Diclofenac in it. Waste of money and insanely expensive for 100ml.

I had a really bad flare-up of psoriasis on my feet and lower legs. The pain was so severe I couldn't walk and none of the usual pain killers made any difference so I tried this out of desparation and it worked like magic. Within 30 minutes after applying the pain was gone, then I applied Sorion cream over the top. Voltarol did not aggravate the psoriasis and the pain relief lasted for 8 hours. I used it for 7 days until I was able to cope with out it.

Absolutely amazing for joint & muscle pain!!

I have been buying Volterol from Amazon for a few years now and it is THE BEST for joint and muscle pain.

Personally I have swollen joints in my knees, ankles, fingers, lower back swelling and a big joint swelling on my right hip that is incredibly painful.

I generously apply the cream to the problem areas before I reach for the morphine.

When you apply, let it dry and sink in fully. Don’t put any clothes or anything on the area to allow maximum absorption and effect.

It starts to work within 30 minutes for me so you need to be a little patient and perhaps occupy yourself while you’re waiting. I read a book, laying on my bed, allowing the cream gel to sink in.

Unlike ibuprofen gel, Volterol doesn’t leave that stick tacky, flakey ness and Volterol dries fairly quickly too.

I would highly most definitely recommend Volterol as it is a life saver for me with chronic joint swelling and horrendous pain. I also recommend buying it from Amazon as it is the cheapest way. Go for it and be pain free for the day/night!!

This larger size is cost effective. I cross reference prices with Lloyd's Chemist etc. before I buy such items and generally Amazon is as competitive if not more so. Free delivery with Prime too.
The product itself I find v effective. Anything that can be taken topically and is as potent as tablets has to be a good thing in my book. Used for moderate muscle pain in the upper arm. There is a stronger alternative but haven't resorted to that yet.

Not used this myself, but purchased for my mother who's got a painful frozen shoulder she struggles with. She's tried a bunch of brands as her doctor is useless, but finds this the best as it really helps with relieving her pain, and the smell and cream aren't as bad as others.
