I've found a favourite I'll stick to buying

I've always had 2 main problems with earphones, but not with these:

1) Usually earphones that have integrated volume control mess with my phone and tablet causing Siri and Cortana to constantly ask what they can help with - which means I can't listen to music.. I never would have used the vol control anyway its unnecessary when volume control on the phone is so easy! The earphones without vol control always seem to be lower sound qual but these are lovely to listen with.

2) I cannot stand uncomfortable ear buds, but these come with 3 sizes of the normal rubber earbuds PLUS a pair of memory foam squishy earbuds that fit me perfectly and stay in really well.

Very happy with these and I won't be buying any other kinds of earphones now I've found some that fit my requirements, but it's worth mentioning that I'm not a massive audiophile, I can't comment in detail about the sound quality. To my ears there isn't distortion and bass sounds pretty good but I'm absolutely not an expert.

Bad Quality

I’m convinced everyone giving 5 star ratings on here is a dirty liar. I’ve purchased Betron products several times in the past few months and they always stop working after a few days. It doesn’t even last up to a week most times. The first few times I thought it was a fluke. It’s not a fluke , their products are just bad quality in general and has a lifespan of a week at most. Do not purchase from them, spend your money elsewhere.

Choosing the correct plug end

These plugs replaced I-Pod ones but used in a Sony radio. The user needs to wear them in bed. They are more comfortable than the I-Pod ones, with not so much pressure on the outer ear, they fit better, fall out less often. The sound is greatly improved to the listener with no sound escaping to disturb anyone else in the room, which was the case with the I-Pod ones. The only issued I have (as I had to do the purchasing) was to find the correct plug end. After much reading I found that the number of rings on the plug end is also key to buying the correct one: one ring = monaural mini plug, two rings = stereo mini plug, 3 rings = ??? but not compatible with the radio. It would have been helpful for the plug size and numbers of rings on the description and product details.

This is the third set of Betron headphones I've owned. Overall a very good brand and these are good for the price. I rated the previous headphones a five star as I was very pleased with them. These however, whilst still very good, were not quite as good. Sound delivers less bass which I've got used to now but was a little disappointed when I first used them. This is very slight however. The fit in my ears was not as good so outside noises are more intrusive. This will clearly differ person to person however. My main issue was comfort. My previous pairs fit perfectly for 8hours or more with no discomfort. These I can wear for about two and a half hours before they start getting uncomfortable. Still not bad but not as good either. My last criticism is the physical size. I use mine whilst riding my motorbike with a helmet on. These stick out of my ears slightly as the silver bit is quite big and so can't be worn with a helmet.

An excellent pair of in ear earphones, very quick delivery.
Product was well packaged and contained a very nice small draw stringed pouch containing additional rubber tips of various sizes and a pair of memory foam tips which are of exceptional quality.
Good clarity and a great bass, these are excellent budget earphones. Not as good as creative ep-630 or sennheisser xc300 mark 2, but at half or third of those prices at slightly lower sound quality these are an excellent choice for replacement earphones as backups, or entry level earphones for first timers or budget users
These stay secure into your ear and do not fall out and are very comfortable
A little tip when inserting into your ear. Insert pinch and lift the top of your ear with thumb and middle finger and push in with your index finger, this makes them fully secure and the sound quality will greatly increase as will the sound isolation

I was looking for some new headphones as my old Apple buds are dying slowly and the Samsung buds that came with my S4 have the audio properties of two plastic cups tied together with a piece of string. The volume sucks on them too.

So... hunting I went.

These Betrons seemed to fit the bill so I placed an order and was delighted to receive them quickly. If memory recalls, they make a point of advertising 'excellent bass response'. They are not lying! In fact, if anything, I would say they were slightly (just a titchy bit) too responsive at lower ranges. However, offset this remark with a great quality feel, good repsonse across the ranges and an increase in volume achieved, I'd say these were really good value for money!

I also use these when out and about or in the office. They are really quiet externally and make a great job of noise reduction from outside sources (I literally can hear nothing else other than music unless on my bike!)

Definitely worth considering. I'm happy with my purchase.

For in ear earphones, I am no master when it comes to sound quality, yet, these earphones are the best I have had to this day. With a very intense base field, along with a perfect balance on clarity and volume. You could not go wrong with these for the price they are. The only issue I can honestly give, is the provided tips, lack the desired size needed. But, that is just me.

Good value for the price. They're well build and feel sturdy. Loud, but not to the point that I've ever really felt the need to lower them below 100% The bass is ok with some punch but I have noticed a little distortion from time to time. They come with 3 different sized ear pieces, and a clip in a velvety pouch. The ear pieces that were already on them fit my ears well and they do not fall out.

Definitely recommend for around a tenner.

One small note: I ordered the black and they are subtly different to the images on Amazon. The parts that look somewhat silvery with a little shine are actually just black and not shiny in reality. Doesn't bother me but thought I'd mention it.

I would rate the sound as adequate and overall good value for money

Brought these for my daughter who wears earphones constantly and gets through them very quickly. She previously had Skull Candy and JVC XX and reports that these are nearly as good but considerably cheaper. Recommended buy for decent ear phones under £10 - and a million times better than those terrible ones that Apple provide that annoy everyone on the train everyday with their shocking sound leakage. If your are using the standard iPhone ones, do yourself a favour and get these and keep your music to yourself!

I work night shifts and I sleep in a day. I use them to watch movies and as a earplugs while kids are playing at home. They do last longer then other, but metal/plastic body press hard on my ear while asleep. I broke many earphones rolling around in the bed during sleep, and those seems to be maybe not the most pleasant to use but they last longest. Quality of sound is OK.
