A SAVIOUR FOR MY OLD PIXMA MG 2450 PRINTER

I like to buy the genuine product rather than ink cartridges that you then find to be at odds with your printer device's abilities. This pack of 545 and 546 cartridges is the real McCoy. It's also nice to know that I'm not yet obliged to fork out unnecessarily for a more modern printer at this point in time because my old one works perfectly well for basic - domestic - printing purposes - which is all I need as long as I can continue to acquire the cartridges. With the light requirement of my uses these black and colour cartridges will last me a year, although I could actually get by with just black ink 545 cartridges these days for printing off words and number documentation sent for me to download.

They claim this will do around 180 pages. I printed off a 130 page report, so all text, with around 20 pages just having a water mark on them and ran out of ink. So you’re looking at around 23p a page to print.
Daylight robbery.

Purchased as replacement cartridges for our Pixma printer - we tend to always buy the originals as we are never organised enough to buy in advance and these are always available with Prime delivery. This had quite a big discount at the time of purchase - I would normally buy the XL versions as they are much better value for money; even better is the XL twin pack but unfortunately this was not in stock at the time of ordering.

Aside from the value for money this is a great replacement printer ink, it is easy to install and the print quality is good.

I print a lot of photos, letters and cards. I am always amazed how good these inks are in that they never alter in their colour even if they have almost run out. I would definitely recommend them. Always arrive on time and the price is very good. My printer has not had a problem with any clogging ink nor having to clean the printer heads constantly to get a good colour. First class.

...quicker than used to. Do not buy it. That one was old or fake one. I purchased it 22 of february 2021 i printed only few (20-30 pages) on start to discover recently that my system shows that i am running out of ink few months later. I am really dissapiointed as it wasn't like this when I purchased the first one. I never checking the date but i think it was dried out when it has been sold to me. The seller should also always write date of manufacturing in the descripton of the ink.

Only downside is Canon really need to think their over the top and unnecessary plastic packaging.
Not environmentally friendly and a real a**ache to get into.

I first bought a "non-original" ink cartridge but it wasn't recognised by my printer so I had to return it (apparently quite a common problem). Decided to rather buy the original Canon product which works fine, although more expensive. Still a lot of money for very little ink!

These are great while they work but they run out too quickly. I couldn't believe my last purchase only managed to print five pages of images before the lights on the printer were indicating both cartridges were empty. It's appalling. Others have suggested the ink cartridges were not full and I'm going to look elsewhere now myself.

The ink is seemingly lasting forever! I print daily for work in colour and have just got down to the bottom of the colour after 6 months! Maybe there's a fairy inside refilling it but now she's used up all her fairy dust...... The quality is great as well. For a budget printer it's great.

Over the years I've tried using non-Canon, cheaper products, but I've always ended up with clogged printer heads. When using Canon printer cartridges, I've never had a clogged printer head and the print output has always been of a good and consistent quality.
