The actual ones that match the one the sonicare toothbrush came with

I bought a Philips sonicare toothbrush recommended by my periodontist and searched for toothbrushes when it came with only one and I needed at least one more to enable my partner to use it also.

There were some own brand/ other makes our there but none convinced me they would be the same quality from the reviews or look if them and I didn't want to take the chance especially as I'd just paid a fortune for said periodontal visit.

These I'm happy to report are identical to the one it came with. The brush indicator change level on the special dye changing set of bristles on it is similar to the other ones and they are working well.
The reason the periodontist recommended the sonic toothbrush and this type of brush is they get to the parts of the tooth that the gum partially covers more than standard electric toothbrushes do, and the profiles of the brush help this and cover more teeth at once as elongated which means the two minutes is sufficient to clean all well.

Warning - these are fakes

I have been buying Philips heads for years. These are not the real thing:
The bristles are very soft and the pigment to show when it’s time to update the heads is already very faint.
The printed text is smudged
They do not contain the coloured bands
They don’t fit snuggly on the toothbrush.
Complained, returned and got a refund. Amazon said they would investigate but it would appear they are still being sold...

Printing on brush heads was shoddy and does not match official photos on Philips website.
Bristles totally different to genuine Philips brush heads - translucent, less dense, and with pointed tips rather than cut square.

In my opinion, these replacement heads are not a genuine Philips product. They feel like cheap plastic, they don't fit the Philips unit well, they don't come with the different coloured rings that genuine heads come with and finally, when you apply even minimal pressure to the head, the vibrations stop. Hence, they won't clean your teeth!
I am returning my product. They are a waste of money and not genuine.

I’ve had a Phillip sonic toothbrush for over 10 years and know what the genuine replacement heads look like. There ARE FAKES! Do not waste your money. I’m returning the ones I’ve just had delivery today. Pop into a store and buy the real thing....

Fake. As soon as I received these I was sceptical as any brush heads I have had from Philips in the past have been a nightmare to get into usually requiring a knife to slash open. These had a cardboard bonded to plastic package which was easy to get into. Maybe they've decided to make it easier to get into I thought. Next up was the writing on the brush head, poorly printed and smudged. Alarm bells starting to ring now. Used a couple of times and my gums are now really sore and bristles starting to come loose which I've only ever experienced with cheap compatible types which ended up in the bin.
Don't waste your money. These were sold by amazon (allegedly) who I would have assumed would have had better counterfeit checking procedures. Clearly not. Will get elsewhere, amazon turning into the cheap Chinese knock off shop these days.

This is the first time I have had a fake product from Amazon. Just been lucky I guess. Made the mistake of not reading the reviews. As soon as I opened it I thought it wasn't right. The whole look of it is wrong and no, it doesn't fit properly. For goodness sake don't buy this. Will be more cautious of Amazon in future.

Bristles are hard and sharp like a previous reviewer mentioned. Felt like it was cutting my gums, especially considering its a electric toothbrush that vibrates rapidly. My other purchases were always soft and gentle to brush with as a electric brushhead should be. May be fake, but packaging does seem well done. Or the quality has fallen so much it might just as well be a fake. Either way, I chucked the rest of the pack in the bin, and got a refund.
