These are nice large bags

When I purchased these I thought "they're poo-bags, what's so special about them?". The answer to that is, everything!

These are nice large bags, so large that they can hold several poos at once - very useful when you are toilet training a puppy and they leave several presents in the garden!. Strong enough that I do not worry about my fingers poking through whilst picking up a tricky poo, something which has happened in the past and was rather unpleasant!

Loved the little holders and their velcro attachments, very strong. One has gone on the lead and one on my keys. Miles better than the bags and holders we had previously purchased, would definitely buy again.

Please, don't get me wrong, this is a personal review!

These are great value, 900 bags will last a long long time!
These are good quality, they are made of a strong material that won't rip and ruin your day!
They come with a cool dispenser, which makes it very convenient for everyday use.
And the scent is just right.

My only gripe, and this is personal preference, is that they do not have handles!
(Previously I have purchased another brand with the handles, and this has been a blessing when securing the bag and carrying to the nearest Poop Bin...)

Otherwise, 5 Stars!

Some glitches, but good value

Others have mentioned that these bags do not have handles, but they are long enough for this to not be a problem for me. The bags are large and sturdy, I have no problem twisting the top and carrying.

The bag holder on the other hand can be a pain, there is only one peg for the reel of bags to slot onto and this means it is difficult to unroll a bag, especially when your monster is trying to make a getaway and your fingers are near frozen from the cold.

Another annoyance I have with the holder is the Velcro strap, it works, but the loop is so big it means the holder swings around and keeps hitting extendable lead housing. I get a clack, clack, clack while I am walking. Would have been great if the bag holder fitted the slot on extendable lead housing, I have two and both have a slot for this.

All said and done, the bag holders were a bonus anyway. The bags themselves are were the most important and just right for me.

I was a bit skeptical at first as I much preferred tie handles (I could hook the poo bag to a carabiner clip to avoid having to carry it). The provided holder, however, has a built in clip which holds the poo bag once tied. The poo bags are a good size, I usually have plenty of bag left to tie up.

I did think the lavender scent was nice, but it fails to mask my dogs poo, you still get the odd whiff of lavender poos.

The holder is slightly bulkier than some holders you can get, but it's easy to get the poo bags off the roll, and they can attached to practically anything. I have since purchased 3 holders, so I can have one on each lead (I seem to accumulate leads like I do shoes).

These are NO longer 'extra thick', they are now very thin, so quite ordinary and same ol' same ol so I'm very disappointed - I know this as I have some of my original batch and these are a 1/3rd thinner / lighter!

No Tie Handles, Rubbish Dispenser

Bought these to pick up dog poop ;-)

Didn't realise they don't have tie handles, which is a massive pain as it turns out. Once poop is picked and you've tied the top, harder to carry than the less eco-friendly ones with tie handles we had been using.

The dispensers are rubbish too, only has a "post" for the reel on one end, so the bags don't move well in them. So we used the old dispenser we had which is vastly better. And shaped like a bone. And grey. Instead of bright green.

next time, will look for ones with tie handles, but we have a lot of poo to pick up before these are all gone!

Really good quality poo bags, included in the box was 2 dispensers that attach with either a clip for a belt or pocket and a Velcro belt so it can attach to your dogs lead. The scent is nice, the sturdiness of the bag is great, no fingers popping through this bag! There are no tie handles, but to be honest I find that they can get in the way, especially on a breezy day, but the bags are long enough for you to tie the bag up no problem, my dog is a large breed at around 44kg so the poop is quite a whopper! I highly recommend buying these, due to quality, price, scent & theyre biodegradable too!

Great bags with a really substantial and useful holder which can be attached to the dog lead - although I attach it to my dogs harness so whilst I still have to pick up at least she carries her own bags - seems fair! They are very strong with a nice subtle scent. I have bought a few boxes of these now and will continue to do so as they are the best I've found. I love the fact they are biodegradable too.

I had been a loyal buyer of Amazon's poopy bags as they're great in price and last me for at least a full year. However, I was also conscious of the environmental impact I was having and was looking into an alternative. I found these and I only have great things to say!

I initially called Customer Service to confirm they were actually compostable and was assisted by a lovely lady; after happily confirming it, I went ahead and purchased the bags. The scent is delicious but what I was worried about but really happy to discover is that they are as sturdy as my old bags. It's a win all over for me and I'm definitely converted!

I have a Dalmatian and a doberman Cross - both large dogs who leave me large steaming piles of joy. The bags are nice and big so I get capture the whole steaming pile - other bags I’ve used require multiple pick ups for one poop!
I have long nails and with other bags it’s like playing poo bag roulette if my nail will go through or not.. these bags are thick and I’ve not suffered brown nail since.
I’ve been buying these bags for over a year now and they’re great. The scent is pleasant and although sometimes won’t mask the whole smell it just masks it enough to make it to the bin without gagging.
The poo bag dispensers are also great and will fit on any lead.
Would recommend to any dog owner!
