People who are saying this makes their animals foam at the mouth are giving their pets way too much of this stuff.
It works well, it’s quite minty, so you literally only need a few drops on either side of your pets mouth. I accidentally squirted too much on my pussy at first and he did exactly what the other reviews said, salivated and run around, as soon as I wiped his mouth he was fine. Seriously, don’t let them put you off, it’s done wonders for my cats breath (all five of them) and after a weeks daily usage I can see tartar reductions.
It’s great stuff, don’t be a tard and make sure you read the instructions.

i emailed them after 2 months of using..... has made no difference whatsoever...
their reply "this stuff is a preventative for bad teeth and breath, it is not a treatment for the cause of it"

i did not buy it as a treatment for cause..... i bought it because it said it was an easy way to remove plaque & tartar build up...

I have been told to take it up with the manufacturer!!!! This seller needs to change his Product Description.... because he lies....

Since using this product ,made my dogs ill. causing high blood creatinine and inflamatory cystitis and weight loss. My other dog, repeatidly having to go and pee, even through the night, binned the product and dogs are fine now, CONTAINS CAFFINE ! I should have researched ingredients sooner .

My tiny Chihuahua had awful teeth. When we got her as a puppy she was the size of a hampster and there was nothing we could find that was small enough to brush her teeth, or chews for that matter. We have persisted with water additives, getting her to lick the toothpaste off our fingers but every dog toothpaste/additive has made her sick and for a tiny dog that would result in a trip to the vet for an anti-sickness injection. She is too little to safely be put under for teeth treatment so we have had to have a dog with very smelly breath and building plaque, not very nice for us and certainly not nice for her or her health.

Finding this gell has been brilliant, it doesn't make her sick, helps with her breath, and definitely softens the plaque.

I have discovered a tiny cotton bud from MUJI that is small enough for her mouth, so I am brushing her teeth with the tiny cotton buds and then adding the gel. Which has resulted in a clean mouth, nice breath, and better health!

One word of advice for those with tiny dogs who have notoriously soft terrible teeth as part of their breed, this gel is so good at loosening the plaque that a few of her teeth have subsequently fallen out. The vets have assured us this is positive as fewer teeth (in her breed) equals less dental, health issues. But on chomping down on a biscuit, three teeth fell out and one got stuck in her throat, so whilst we are breaking down the plaque, I am keeping her on a soft diet and keeping an eye on any loose teeth.

I've been using this on my dog who has some tartar build-up on her top back teeth. I got her as an adult dog and she was not at all keen on letting me brush her teeth. She was reluctant at first to let me apply the gel, but with perseverance and rewarding her straight away after application ( I throw her favourit toy for her to fetch) she now will sit in front of me when she sees the bottle and seems to enjoy it. I even think that I might attempt to try her doggy toothbrush again.
I have been using it for about four weeks now and I had a good look at her teeth earlier today and there is an improvement in the amount of tartar/plaque on her teeth. I am very pleased with this product and I still have about two thirds of the bottle left. I would highly recommend.

I didn't actually use this myself - it was bought for my 12 year old Cocker Spaniel Stan, who is completely deaf, and partially blind, with terrible smelling breathe (he hasn't really got much going for himself!!)

If I'm honest, he wasn't a fan, he is used to having his teeth cleaned but when I rubbed this into the side of his mouth, he kept shaking his head.

He's a fussy fella, so don't let this review put you off - just be grateful Stan can't type, otherwise I'm sure if would be a scathing review!!!

In March at my dogs MOT my vet told me both my dogs teeth would need cleaning because of the plaque build up. In October a visiting friend of mine suggested a tooth cleaning gel she used in South Africa, Tropiclean sounded like the same stuff so I bought it on Amazon and used it for two months every day. So simple to use, just a blob around each canine tooth and hey presto it worked! Today the last of the plaque came off so will now use it twice a week to keep their teeth sparkling! £12 v £££s plus having to give them anesthetic - no contest. Highly recommended

I am using the gel every day on my 8 month old puppy and my 2 cats over 8 years old. It does work well and my animals have got used to it. They lick their mouth afterwards which is normal and it spreads the product around. I do it last thing at night for them so that it is part of their night time routine and works overnight so most effective. I highly recommend it and hope that you have found my tip useful? ☺ 🐱🐶

At last a product that seems to be improving my Cavalier’s dental hygiene significantly. We do use other stuff too, which no doubt make a contribution (Arm & Hammer water additive and dental chews), but I can’t find a reliable or effective way of brushing her tiny little Cavalier teeth in that adorable wee mouth. I can’t say she lights up with pleasure when she sees me approach with the spray, but she doesn’t slink off under the table either. Dental health is particularly important for Cavaliers because they are prone to heart disease but now I seem to be preventing build up of tartar fairly well.
The irony is that our cat, who’s 14, and never had her teeth cleaned in her life, has fabulous teeth, which is just as well, as I value my blood rather highly- the annual visit to the vet for her checkup and immunisations is a two person job, requiring careful planning and a new strategy every time..

I've got a senior Whippet with notoriously bad teeth. Tried brushing but his gums are too sensitive. I was sceptical but have to say this gel works. If definitely helps with bad breath, the teeth look whiter, the plaque seems to be reduced and helps with inflamed gums too. Overall very happy, my boy likes it too and he seems happier with a better mouth feeling. So I will continue to use It. Trick is, you need to keep on top of mouth hygiene for your dog, once in a while will not cut it! Highly recommended!
