Great value for the price

We bought it for our paddle board in the river. Size large for a man who weights 85 kilos is a bit too big and we had to adjust it to the smallest we could (it is meant for 70-90kgs), the same one for a women (myself) of similar weight but much shorter and with breasts was just about right if not a bit tight so bear this in mind.

...Buoyancy Aid! the two are very different!

The below is from the RNLI Website

..."Buoyancy aids at level 50 are recommended for use by swimmers in sheltered waters or by those doing watersports where help is close at hand. However, they do not have sufficient buoyancy to protect a person who is unable to help themselves. They are not designed to turn a person from a face-down position in the water"...

Luckily for us we only use it for Kayaking in the river and our kids can swim, but it is misleading (hence the 2 stars) as it is advertised as Life Jacket when it isn't, it's a serious matter that could have serious consequences for those who cannot swim.

Price wise we got the kids one at £15 and the adults at £26 so cannot complain, they are comfy and lightweight.

This is not for open water, ensure you buy the correct flotation aid for the correct application.

Budget buoyancy aid that cuts a few corners

This is comfortable and allows movement, but it isn't very well fastened. I made the mistake of assuming that it would zip together, but it doesn't: it relies on two tie cords and a single buckle. This is pretty useless for activities where you're likely to be in the water: you stand no chance of tightening the cords with wet hands. Buoyancy aids are important, so I'd recommend buying something better than this. Preferably one with more adjustment, so you can be confident it won't come off or ride up in the water.

Great value for the money.
I looked at loads before buying. This is comfortable, lightweight & easy to adjust.
I like the fact that it is a ‘v’ neck so it’s more comfortable to wear & I doesn’t ‘ride up’
I haven’t fallen in the water with it yet, so cannot comment on boyancy.

You only have to buy a good life jacket once i guess - you’re not exactly going to lose it, so you may as well spend a bit more and get a good well known brand that’s not going to let you down. Can’t fault the product, really comfortable and fits me and my dad despite us being different sizes.

After trailing through amazing trying to find a light weight life jacket I stumbled on this one. I was really struggling to understand what size to get. I'm a size 12 top half and 14/16 on bottom half. I went for the size large. I tried it on and fits nicely. It's easy to tie up with 2 ties at the front and ofcourse the middle strap. I haven't tested it out yet on water. I'm hoping to start paddle boarding after the lockdown. Great purchase.
