Having suffered for many years with sinus problems, I have found that Sudafed is the only product that will unblock my nose. The only downside to this is that I have built up an addiction to it in the sense that I need to use it several times a day. The product does say not to use more than 3 days however, I have used it for several years.

IT WORKS BUT CAUSES MORE PROBLEM IN THE LONG RUN

I bought this never having used nasal spray before. At first, I was shocked at how well it works, I would spray it then 3 mins later id blow my nose and it would be unblocked and be unblocked for 10hours. Then almost every time immediately after the 10hour mark, I would have a blocked nose again. But this time blocked in a way that was way worse than before as if I cannot breathe a single air particle can go up my nose. I decided to stop using it after 3 days and my nose is now slowly unblocking on its own.

This is how people become dependent on nasal spray. it would have been better if I just had waited my blocked nose out. Now I've had a block nose for 4 days in a row when it would have never lasted this long.
So avoid!!! look up videos on exercises to do that unblocks your nose on youtube.

Effective with caveats

Ye olde Sudafed has been around for some time, but remains a relatively effective decongestant. Works best, or at least most quickly, before the sinuses are severely congested, but does bring relief in the latter case as well -just a little more slowly. As has been noted, it is better not to use it for more than three days in a row, although cycling with something like a Vics spray can help a little with that. It can also cause minor side-effects, most notably being a dry / sore upper throat. However, in cases where some artificial assistance is beneficial, this is one of the better products available -a known quantity that typically works well, and available at a sensible price. All told then, a useful, effective decongestant to have around.

I suffer from chronic catarrh and this is really good stuff. I use it every night otherwise my nose blocks up and I can't sleep. It needs a really firm push to get the liquid out of the nozzle and into your nose, and I wouldn't say it lasts for 10 hours like it says on the packaging - more like 4-6 hours, so I wake up in the night and have to re-apply it.

Using this for the past few days has been fantastic, I've been able to breathe properly again, however last night I found it impossible to fall asleep, after reading the side effects again I noticed that it can cause trouble sleeping, also prolonged has can cause rebound congestion and also further health issues.

I actually bought this when i tested positive for covid, aswell as having majority of covid symptoms minus a fever I also had a very severe blocked nose to the point where my sinuses felt VERY inflamed due to this it gave me really awful headaches, but this really helped with releasing tension from that area and helped reduce the pain of the headaches. You have to be careful using this, and similar items, and not use it every day. This is because you can almost become reliant on it!
