Best ever!!

I have 2 indoor cats and both are extremely litter fussy.
I have tried many different types of litter from the dusty, cheap clay types with very poor odour control, through to wood pellets, catsan and Oko and world's best (brand name escapes me apologies).

The latter 3 were expensive but did an amazing job. I really liked the wood pellets but found that my cats tracked them all over the house and I was constantly cleaning up as I continually and painfully, trod on the litter.

My finances are stretched pretty thin but I detest the cheap clay types found in all supermarkets. The dust is an issue but a bigger problem is the total lack of any odour control. It just stinks. And it's horrible as the smell pervades the entire house. Ewww....

So, having seen this and read some reviews - plus it being reasonably priced, I took the plunge. And oh boy! I'm so glad I did!!! This is the best litter ever! My cats love it, especially my terribly pernickety older boy who loves the softness of the paper pellets on his delicate paws. NO tracking and absolutely excellent odour control. As in zero. None at all. Cleaning out the solid waste is easy and the litter soaks up the urine effortlessly. No awful ammonia smell and it hasn't soaked through to the bottom of the tray to get stuck there.

I literally filled the clean tray with this litter, a risky move with my very fussy boys and they used it straight away. No fuss at all. When I've changed previous litters it has been pretty labourious as I had to do the change over a little at a time. So you can imagine my delight when both cats headed straight in!

As long as the price stays reasonable I shall continue to buy this.

urine and odor not absorb very well

it’s not as good as pine litter, it does not absorb odor, so the cat tray area will smell bad

and because of its light weight, the cat will bring a lot of litter out of the litter tray, even with the tray hood on, extra cleaning work is required

the litter does not absorb cat urine very well, sometimes a puddle of urine left on the bottom of the tray, you need to put more thicker layer of litter to prevent this happen

wet litter will not stick together, so there will be a lot of left over mix up with clean litter, made the litter tray always not clean enough

i have to replace all litter and clean the tray maybe 2 to 3 days, hence more litter is consumed

I love this litter, I've had cats all my life and this is the best litter yet. It lasts about 4-5 days with 2 cats, easily a week with 1 cat. Poop needs to be scooped every day, but it could go 2-3 days if you had to.

PROs:
1. This cat litter absorbs the urine really well. You do smell it when the cat first uses it, but the smell quickly absorbs.
2. It does not track, or end up all over the house. The cats will occasionally kick some out of the pan, but that's it. It does not track to other parts of the house, it does not get ground into carpet, and it does not make the floor gross.
3. Scooping is really easy, you get the poop out but it absorbs the wee. There is no clumping, and the litter doesn't break down as quickly as similar products.
4. Changing the cat litter is easy. It does not cake onto the cat pan and spills significantly less than standard litters.

CONs:
1. You must scoop the poop immediately. There is nothing to coat the poo so it will smell until you take it out. It's really easy to scoop, so this isn't a big deal.

People need to ask themselves, who are they buying this for? Kittens! Naturally they will explore their environment and this may include eating or mouthing things. At the very least, they may ingest it via grooming. Essentially kitten litter NEEDS TO BE SAFE FOR KITTENS NOT SIMPLY CONVENIENT FOR US! This litter ticks those boxes! No toxic perfumes - lazy peeps need to embrace the job of regularly cleaning litter! (after all, I'm sure they wouldn't want a dirty loo) NOT CLUMPING - think about it folks... Would you want your precious furbaby on an operation table because of ingesting clumping cement litter? A lot of litter brands should be recalled for wrongly advertising its safety for kittens. And it's made of non-toxic, environmentally friendly material. No, it's not perfect for our own convenience but I have my own toilet. And my kittens have their own with this SAFE AND ENVIRONMENTAL LITTER.

This is extremely good cat litter and the price is very competitive. There are undoubtedly other cat litters which do an excellent job, but they are double the price...we all know which they are so won't name them.
I have previously used wood pellets which look clean and bright when first used and have a nice fresh pine smell. However, the downside to them is that once wet they disintegrate and turn into sawdust; having turned into wet sawdust, my lot take a delight in scratching wildly like mad things and walking over a parquet floor leaving yellow footprints on the wood and sawdust in the gaps between the wood (genuine Edwardian parquet, not modern easy-to-clean stuff).
I previously tried a supermarket brand of paper litter and that was dreadful, fell apart in no time. I thought |I would try the Breeder Celect, simply because of all the excellent 5* reviews and I am not disappointed...neither are our little ratbags. Even when wet it remains solid...just changes colour, goes darker, but no dust whatsoever. It absorbs an enormous amount (even when my kidney patient does one of his whoppers) and consequently I am using very little indeed and it is working out to be very economical, which is a big consideration in a multi-cat household.
If in doubt, try this litter and I'm sure you and your guys will be really impressed. The price is amazing too, very reasonable, and no need to lug it from the car to the house. A great discovery.
And finally, it destroys all odours...not a whiff of wee,

Breeder Celect Recycled Paper Cat Litter 30L

I've had recycled paper cat litter in the past and it has been awful, it doesn't absorb, smells and my cats would on occasion not even go in the tray. However, I'm very impressed by this paper cat litter from 'Breeder Celect', it keeps the odour completely under control and has a good absorbency plus the trays are ever so easy to clean, my cats don't have an issue with it neither.

Even though this is a 30L bag of litter the weight is minimal thus I can move it around without breaking my back and the delivery driver is happy also. Price is another key factor in purchasing this, £12.90 is very reasonable indeed and considering this is just as effective as the higher priced wood pellet cat litter then it's currently offering good value for money along with excellent performance.

I change my cat trays daily and will do a quick spot clean throughout the day, odour has been kept to a minimum, none of my 4 cats have complained. The only slight annoyance is one of my cats will flick this litter out of the tray, don't know what he's digging for, maybe treasure but he does make a mess and I have to sweep up the litter on the floor after he has finished.

Another key feature of this litter is that there's no dust, unlike other litters which turns the room into a sandstorm when changing, dust is a thing of the past, no longer need to open the windows wide or open the front door to let the dust out as this eventually settles all over the house and it looks like I haven't dusted for years :)

Overall, to sum up, this litter offers the following:

This litter's a Game Changer

For years I've been a fan of wood pellet cat litters, and have extolled their virtues to anyone who asked what to use. Never again: this particular brand of paper pellets is the only litter I'll ever recommend in future.

It's absolutely miraculous in terms of pong-reduction. I used to know the instant one of my cats had pooped and would drop everything and run to get rid of the offending object and spray like mad to get rid of the smell. Now I actually have to do a twice daily check to see if anyone's pooped indoors because There Is No Smell!!

The litter is also far less treadable than wood or clay, and I seldom have to sweep up more than once every other day (The cats' tray is a covered one) and as a further bonus the tray is far easier to keep clean than with other types of litter - I simply empty it and give it a once over with a disinfectant cloth, and it's clean and ready to refill.

Finally, it's lighter than other types size for size, which as I have limited use of my right hand, I find very helpful.

(Now that I've re-read this review, I think I'd better buy shares in the company! LOL)

Dust free, easy clean/disposal

I discovered Breeder Celect cat litter when I looked after a relative's cat and they provided litter for the duration of the cat's stay. I found it exceptionally easy to dispose of once the cat had carried out its business. I recently purchased my own cat and decided to buy Breeder Celect cat litter and it is just so much easier to deal with than the supermarket clumping litter I used to use with my own previous cat. Let's not beat around the bush here, cat poo absolutely stinks at the best of times and cats funnily enough, know this! hence why they muck about so much in their litter tray to cover the stink up! No litter is going to mask the smell of cat poo 100 percent and in any case, I will always dispose of the faeces as soon as the cat is finished. The litter is also very absorbant, I've not noticed any pooling of cat uring in the litter tray, the pellets just soak it up. As for emptying the litter tray, the soiled litter just slides out into a bag, no mess. It's dust free too, which is for me an absolute bonus. I won't go back to other cat litter, for me (and my cat), this product is excellent.

After my previous wood-based cat litter became unavailable I stumbled across this. I read all the reviews. Lots saying how smelly it was and messy. It was an urgent situation and this was cheap so I decided to give it a go regardless.
It's now taken place of my previous litter!
My two indoor girls love it, we love it. A poop scoop daily and a bit of a stir sorts out any smells. A change every 4 days (though it has been left for a week before) keeps it all nice and fresh. I pop the poop in the loo, being careful to minimise any pellets following it -they do flush though and cause no blockage this end, and dispose of the rest on the full change with my household waste. I would highly recommend this and would never change now (I have used many litters over my cat guardian years). Give it a go. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

My bunnies and I love this!

I switched to this type of litter after seeing the way that wood pellets break up when soiled and then track all over the floor.
With these pellets that doesn't happen. They are super absorbent, there is no smell and they are soft under my bunnies feet. I love that they are made from recycled paper too.
It's easy to see when the bunnies have been to the loo and therefore possible to spot clean, rather than change the whole tray.

The trays are easy to clean, the only staining you get is from the urine itself and that is easily cleaned with white vinegar mixed with water.
I highly recommend these and have them on subscription. I buy the larger bags as it works out cheaper.

I’ve been Breeder Celect for a long time now and would never consider changing to anything else. The litter tray never smells, it is very easy to keep fresh for one week by stirring the wee and lifting out the poo after each use. It doesn’t track, and the few small pieces that are tossed out of the tray while my cat is using it are easy to see and pick up and throw back in. The tray is very easy to empty and clean because almost nothing gets left behind at the bottom of the tray and there is no dust when emptying. It can even be put in compost piles instead of in the bin.
