Genuine cartridge.

Genuine HP ink cartridge: Installation, quality and reliability etc all as expected. The price on Amazon was cheaper than anywhere else. Arrived next day.
If anyone finds this useful I’ll update with a rough idea of how long the cartridge lasts.

To be honest with you all, and I feel that you deserve this out of respect. INK is not an endangered species, it is not rare and fleeting either, it is simply Ink, yet we have to pay over the odds for this product, it is far too expensive for what it actually is. Rant over. as far as printing goes it does the job it is designed for. easy to replace the cartridge but way too expensive.

I bought this particular product because it said it was an HP original and it was also Amazon’s Choice. The first purchase printed 10 pages before it registered empty. I complained to Amazon and to the company through Amazon and they sent me out a replacement product. The replacement has done exactly the same thing. At this price 10 pages of normal type is just not good enough. If this is Amazon’s Choice, I am dismayed and they should look carefully at the product before recommending. If this is in fact an HP original, I am horrified. I feel I have been let down by both HP and Amazon.
I would certainly not recommend this product.

Ok, so the thing to remember with this is that its a genuine product so it going to be more expensive than some of the alternatives.

I have had both genuine & refurbished/refilled products in the past but have tended to go for the brand new genuine products the last few times as I'm always a bit dubious of the fact my printer seems to keep checking & telling me when it thinks a non-genuine product is installed, but also the company I used before that I had a positive experience with is no longer selling the cartridges.

I compared the price onlines to the price from Currys PC World & Amazon was slightly cheaper, so have stuck with buying them from here.

When I last came to buy a cartridge the prices between the refurbished cartridges & the brand new ones was minimal, so I stuck with this product.

My only niggle was the fact that the cartridge took longer to deliver than I expected as it came through the mail, which being Christmas & in the middle of a pandemic, increased delivery times.

Robbers and cheats at HP ink

Totally disgusted with HP printer ink. How on earth can these prices be justified? It used to be £15 for the colour and black ink cartridge and now it's £15 for one! I'm a lithographic and silk screen printer , graphic designer and artist and have worked with ink all my life. This is daylight robbery, half empty cartridges that completely stop working? Ive got a draw full of these rubbish cartridges and no support from HP, apart from nonsense that my room where my printer is maybe too warm! Printers ink is cheap in this format and yet it costs way too much for so little bang for your £££££. I bet there is a mountain of HP printers somewhere, and a big greedy fat cat on top, grinning from ear to ear!

The product I received was clearly used, the packaging was damaged, and the supposed HP plastic bag the cartridge came in was opened. The sealed label was off.
When I set it up my HP printer showed an error message saying that the ink had finished, and even prompted the possibility of fraud if the item had been sold new to me.
Seeing the good reviews perhaps I was an unlucky customers who received a returned item, but I won't be buying this again.

Great value genuine cartridges, I was reluctant to sign up to the subscription as I don’t like the thought of being obliged to have the item if I don’t need it at the time BUT I have been really pleased - you get a discounted price and even though you initially choose how frequently you want your delivery, you receive an email in advance of your planned order and can then manage your deliveries and defer them if you’re not ready for the product, and you can even cancel them at any time, so it’s definitely worth subscribing in my opinion!

I do very little printing so when I need a replacement ink cartridge I will invariably grit my teeth (I'm toothless so that ain't an easy thing to do) and buy an original HP one.
I paid just under fifteen quid for this HP 301 and considering that there is only about 3ml of ink in it innit, that probably makes this ink more valuable than gold or diamonds.
I've no complaints about the print quality that I get from my 4500 aoi envy as I only use the black ink because I'd need a bank loan to get the coloured one as well.
Why is ink so expensive to buy I hear you say?, apparently printers are sold at a loss and the manufacturers make their profits on the accessories that you buy for your printer, ie ink cartridges etc.
Quality don't arf cost a lot of dough these days don't it innit.

Write up says it prints 180 pages. Absolutely ridiculous. I have just received this new cartridge for an important print job and all it did was 95 pages.
The 301XL which is supposed to do 400 pages is just as bad and costs so much. I really don't want to use genuine HP cartridges any more, but sometimes the printer wont accept recycled cartridges so what can you do.
Pretty underwhelmed with it all.

I have had problems in the past with non-branded cartridges and so always buy the genuine ones.

My HP DeskJet 2130 refuses to recognise this product. Luckily I had a spare, but what is really annoying is that I can't seem to return this faulty item via Amazon and am directed to the HP website. I have to sign into the website and then it will only speak to me about the printers I have registered and not about ink cartridges.

So it appears I have lost my money on this one.
