I am 59 and remember this from when I was a kid so when I developed some very dry itchy flaky skin on my hands but before I got this product (I had totally forgotten it existed TBH) I tried several other things that made things worse but then I remembered this so got it from amazon. This cream is excellent at what it does and it has an ingredient to take way the paid too. It absorbs very easy and has a very light almost non existent fragrance and is pink in colour. A very tiny amount goes a long way and now I am back to having normal skin and it only took a week this is now a permanent fixture in my meds cabinet

I am not convinced this is genuine Germolene , doesn’t have that distinctive smell also very ineffective! I swear by Germolene ... this isn’t right, will bin it and buy elsewhere!

Top quality antiseptic cream which has been around for generations. Our family use it for everything - cuts, sores, burns, spots and so much more. A must for any first aid kit. It works very effectively. It can’t be bought in Ireland anymore, it’s now been replaced by Bepanthan here. So I’ve purchased lots of it on Amazon and at a third of the price. Only downside is that’s it’s not pink anymore!

What can I say? Germolene has been our family's usual antiseptic cream since I was at least 4 years old. It soothes, it eases and it protects and my childhood memories of its application bring to mind plasters, mum's hugs and being indulged a little until the creams local anesthetic kicked in and I wanted to go back outside to play. Not bad memories, in fact rather pleasant ones.

I bought this because was recomended to go along with a lazer skin treatment. It is supposed to numb the skin and reduce sensitivity. Didn't do that nearly at all.
If there is any numbing agent inside, it's very very mild!! Hence completely redundant buy! I could have used my savlon!!
Also the smell is pretty pungent medical smell. Don't enjoy that at all really.
Basically this is not served it's purpose so annoyed i spent extra on this for nothing.
I see it as a complete sham misleading sell!!
