I am using these for my furboy who is suffering with allergies that can't be pinpointed by the vet.
He takes Apoquel daily and on antibiotics for an infection caused by the hot spots on his tummy, legs and mouth.

Started yesterday morning
One tablet a day
No side effects after 2 tablets

Results...
He hasn't itched his eyes
He hasn't bitten his sores

Fingers crossed this gives the poor little chap some relief x

In the current heatwave I was stricken with a sudden attack of hay fever. Constant sneezing, nose like a tap, hour after hour, it was absolutely awful. Tissue after tissue. I turned to Amazon and in desperation clicked on this product to be delivered the same day. I then took to my bed and waited for the doorbell to herald my salvation. It arrived and I took just HALF a pill and within the hour my terrible symptoms abated. What a relief!! BUT . . . then the dreaded side effects took hold. In short I became incredibly sleepy, had to go back to bed. Felt like a Zombie in a fog! The more I slept only made me want to sleep even more. Deeper and deeper. I was like Dick Powell under the influence in 'Farewell My Lovely'. It took 48hrs before my head cleared and I reclaimed my brain. Phew! Never again. They are definitely NOT suitable for me.

I didn't know that I had a favourite antihistamine before writing this review.
What a thrill.

I usually go with a shop's own brand, as the active ingredients are basically the same and they're a fraction of the price.
They've served me well over the years.

However this year my hay-fever has been awful, and nothing seems to help.
I thought I'd give Piriteze a go again as it's a reputable brand - what a difference!
This helps, especially with the streaming gritty eyes.

I don't know if it's a change of ingredient, or if it's psychosomatic, but there's a big improvement.

Great value for money, even better if you have Amazon prime delivery. Beware cheap alternatives. They really become effective after taking for a few days almost building up your restance to the allergy concerned. I suffered from hay fever for weeks and took the chemists recommended alternative (which he said were as good as Piriteze!) with no great on going effect. I purchased these from Amazon and within a few days my problems were behind me. I will probably keep taking whilst the weather dictates.

Second year in my life I've ever had hay fever, first year I've ever taken a daily anti histamine. If you have hay fever, don't even think about it, just take one of these a day. Works a treat, recommended.

UPATE: 1 June 2021. Don't know what it is about the hay fever this year, hay fever on steroids. The tablets do not control Hay fever, so have gone back to Pirinase Nasal Spray which is currently working, two squirts up each nostril once a day and my problem is solved. Buy the nasal spray.

These are not real piriteze! The box is totally different from a real one. Badly printed, cheap cardboard.
A family member has to take piriteze to stop the itching side effects of other medication - I order her these to be delivered directly and they didn’t work at all. Upon checking the box and comparing to a shop bought pack, they are totally different. Please be careful purchasing these!!

How this is allowed is beyond me

Used to buy these at the supermarket but they are much cheaper here. I have used these for about 6 years now and I can never fault them.

Others have made me drowsy but not these, i do have friends who disagree however so I recommend buying a small pack first and seeing how you get on

Recently I seem to have developed a permanently runny nose, I don't know if it is hay fever or an allergy to something. However, I decided to try these tablets and after a few days of taking them, it seems to have improved somewhat. Although these tablets are very small, ensure you have a drink close at hand when you take them,as they taste disgusting if they dissolve in your mouth. I will report back after taking them for a longer time.
