Best cream for itchy skin

I have very dry skin (atopic dermatitis) and it gets really itchy to the point that it is unbearable. I have tried every type of creame, includying antibacterial cream and nothing work. After 3 dayd using this cream the itchiness is gone and my skin feels much better, although I ran out and couldn't use it for 2 days and the itchiness came back so for sure I won't wait until I run out next time to buy more

How can I send back this faulty item.

Product has been assembled incorrectly. It doesn’t dispense any cream. I keep getting a message not a returnable item.

It’s not fit for purpose. Can you help? I have had to start using the other container as I had run out. So I can only send one back. I would like a replacement not a refund please

I have been suffering from pruritus for over 5 yrs and my skin is raw and I am driven mad with the itching has driven me mad because it never stops, I cannot believe that after using using E45 regularly for the last 3 weeks the itching has stopped and my skin is beginning to heal. Expensive. Stings.

After chemo, I’ve developed lots of rashes and my skin is very sensitive. E45 itch relief cream - just the very thing, I thought. About 20 seconds after you’ve applied it, it stings like merry hell if you have any scratches - quite likely if you have an itchy rash. Babies will be screaming if you use this on them. I was. It really really burns fiercely if you have even the slightest scrape or open skin.
E45 is usually fantastic but not this version.
It’s also very expensive for what it is. You’re better off with the plain version - if you can get it. Lots of dermatological skin creams suddenly not available, even on Amazon.

Worked well for me, but not a cure-all

I thought I’d try this cream after a bout of cellulitis left me with extremely itchy legs. The bottle itself is pretty hefty with a little push/spout thing on top to dispense the cream. While it’s not a miracle cure, it does certainly alleviate the itching. It’s also worth considering that there are warnings on the bottle about medical conditions where this product shouldn’t be used – this isn’t mentioned on the product information, which is a bit worrying, as people might buy it thinking it’s a cure-all. The sellers also claim that it's non-greasy, which isn't true, but I suppose it depends on your definition of 'greasy'.

My doctor recommended this itchy skin relief cream. I had had an allergic reaction to something which caused a raging red itchy rash over most of my body. I applied this a couple of times a day which quelled the itching. Along with taking an antihistamine. Once the rash had disappeared I carried on using it as a moisturiser to rehydrate my skin.

Never had any skin issues in my life - until became allergic to some medication, and developed hives in huge patches over huge chunks of my body.
Small tubes of cream worked 'fine' - but not really designed to cover a few square feet of skin that's itching so badly it wakes you up.
This product is designed for such a problem.
The reassuringly large industrial dispenser allows you to dispense healthy quantities of soothing cream to liberally baste yourself with. Couple of pumps and you can just slather the stuff on like sunscreen.
Cream itself feels pretty quite oily at first (glistening skin and tranferring to anything you touch), but after not too long bit seems to vanish/absorb, leaving you with just moisturised and soothed skin.

Will order this again.
Worked well on my boys eczema.
After about 2 moths of use we still have plenty left and my boys eczema now all gone only comes back now and then. Im not claiming that this cream healed it . Rather he grew out of it but the cream makes the itchy and scratchy show stop dead in its tracks meaning it gets time to heal.

My 92 year old Dad couldn't sleep with itching from Pruritius (The most common cause of itchy skin in the elderly, especially in autumn and winter is xerosis or dry skin. This 'dry skin' is quite evident on skin examination, being most pronounced on the lower legs, anteriorly, but also affecting the upper limbs and back.) So I bought this larger pack after he tried the small tubes for a couple of weeks. The trial was so good I wanted an easy application larger pack and this was just perfect. He now sleeps soundly and no more itching.
