Great funny book

My son has SEN and as a consequence isnt a reader. Im always after something that will grip him and this book certainly has. He thinks its good and very funny, even wants the rest in the series. Fait accompli!

I bought this for my nine year old girl, and she's spent the past few days with her head buried in it, snorting and chuckling away. I have had her read a few pages to me; it's well written and very engaging. And of course, funny!

The print size is quite large, which is in keeping with the age group. This makes the book less daunting to children who find that reading isn't at the top of their list of "fun things to do". If your child lacks confidence in their reading, I pretty much think they would find this an appealing read. Be prepared for laughter!

A great book, and I'm sure we will be sniffing out more reads by this humorous author.

Laugh at this comedy!!

This book is laugh out loud funny and keeps you engaged until the end. I would recommend this book to 7-12 year olds.
It is filled with jokes right from beggining to the end. This is the best comedy book I have ever read and want to read the whole series.

This book made me laugh and will probably make anyone laugh just at reading the title. It is entertaining and will certainly be understood by young children. Well written and a great idea and story line and I would recommend it for all the ages even adults. Good ending as it makes sure kids won't use the silly tricks on their parents

I loved this book but it only got 4 stars because some characters weren't introduced properly so when they are mentioned later I didn't remember who was who. This could just be me as I get this often with books but I would recommend this book to all families with children of any age. This book needs to have a version from a different point of view like Maddy's or Theo's. Thank you to the author for such a great book 😁

Love this book. I have not read it myself, however it was the first book of this type (chapter) that I have been able to get my son to read.
Honestly I think it's due to the title, I mean how great does that sound... to an 8 year old, how to train your parents, I know my son would love to be in charge sk I think this book really did catch his eye when he opened it on his birthday. And since then he has been reading different chapter books.
