After binge watching the Netflix show Heartstopper, I needed to know more about the characters. I’m 32 years old and haven’t cried in a long time but this had me in tears. It brought back so many memories of that time in my life between school and uni and you think everyone you know and love are going to change and leave you. I hope this part of their story gets adapted into the Netflix show and I hope there is more of their story coming.

Fake and misprinted

I like the story itself but my copy is a fake. It has no shiny titles like the originals and the side is misprinted. Overall the book is quite flimsy.

I’d wait and buy it from a reputable source, even if you really want it, not worth getting a fake if you excited for the actual book, kinda ruins the excited feeling.

I ordered two Alice Oseman novellas and both came misprinted, as both printed by Amazon. This one had half of Alice Oseman's name missing from the spine and both books aren't in the best quality.

The quality is actually so awful on this as Amazon seem to be printing their own copies which are 100% inferior to the real ones. Don’t waste your money, I’m sending the ones I’ve ordered back to get them from somewhere that’s more reliable.

I ordered this after the netflix show as I really enjoyed the tv series. The problem I have with this story it doesnt really add anything to what we already know, not really in the way you might imagine. We catch up with Nick and Charlie around year two of their relationship and Nicks about to go off to university leaving Charlie behind. The main theme of the book seems to be, Charlie's inability to cope with Nick leaving for a substantial amount of time to go to said University. In the end things work out as expected, but it left me feeling uncertain about their future together down the long road. I guess that is left open to interpretation to the reader.

Brilliant Story well told. I'm severely Dyslexic but after watching Heartstopper on Netflix I decided I wanted to read more. I don't read for fun so to speak. As apart from My Dyslexia I get Migraines when Reading (I don't need Glasses I have excellent vision.) However I read this over the course of 2 Days. I also purchased the Audio Narration. In truth I 1st listened to it while Gaming. I enjoyed it so much I decided I wanted to read it. It's such a universal Story. Something I seen many People I knew back in School go through. Excellent depiction of someone who deals with Mental Health issues. Done in a way where they're honestly shown as not being some tragic Character. Just an average Person who had stuff to deal with. Again I think a lot of people go through tough things. Both Charlie and Nick are shown in such a good way. I just love their Relationship. I can honestly say I really do highly recommend reading this and the Graphic Novels that are a prequel to this. The only thing I will say is that I noticed is at times this was written prior to the Graphic Novels. Nothing major just minor things. Give it a read you'll enjoy it.

This was honestly the sweetest thing that i have ever read, Charlie with his insecurities about nick leaving for university and Nick with his insecurities about ever leaving Charlie.

So many authors like to show only the sweetness about a couple but i love how Alice Oseman has decided to show that relationships are not all rainbows and roses, that there are arguments, insecurities and sometimes tears. And only the strongest of relationships can overcome this. Five stars, absolutely loved it.

I pre-ordered this one. If you've read and enjoyed all the Heartstopper graphic novels this one is for you. Same Characters who I love so much Nick and Charlie. This is a short story at just under 200 pages, so easy reading. The odd beautiful illustrations within too. Devoured within an hour.

A short story about Nick heading off to university and what will happen between him and Charlie. Quite a sad sorry for part of it as Charlie believes they won't be able to go long distance and starts to act out about it in the wrong way. But we know these guys right. Absolutely love them both and this short story is keeping me going till Heartstopper Vol 4 is out.

A well deserved four stars from me. Highly recommend.

Oh dear… I didn’t want this book to end. It is so positive to read about a healthy teenage relationship and how issues are resolved. I don’t want to go into details and spoil the outcome but I am truly grateful for Alice Oseman’s writing and art. All of her books have been a true delight to read. Now… it is time for my imagination to take over and conjur what happens next for these two.
