I paid for the most expensive, largest version of this painting, waited 3 weeks and then when it arrived it looks like a shoddy, poor version (see pic 2 and 3) of the refined version advertised online (see pic 1). The background greys are supposed to be quite refined adding an airiness that helps bring the colours in the centre to the forefront. However, in the painting delivered the greys are painted in a heavy splodgy way and make the whole painting look oppressive and heavy, the colour palette does not include the warmer copper colours and worst of all, the signature that is supposed to be subtle has been heavily painted in red and looks like a cheap ‘$21’ dollar sign stuck on a cheap painting, which totally sticks out. This looks like the real painter was not available and some poor painter rushed it, messed it up with no care for painting and sent it out. I had based my whole lounge colour scheme around this painting and now am in a problem as I have to return the painting. I really wanted to give this painting pride of central place in my lounge – so sad. Also, Amazon are now asking me to post it myself to Poland to get a refund!
