About Single Sign-on for Amazon Business

You can manage Amazon Business users more easily with Single Sign-on (SSO).

Some of the benefits of Single Sign-on include:

  • New users created automatically: Businesses with thousands of users can get started without any manual bulk upload or invitation process. Accounts are automatically provisioned if the user does not already have an Amazon Business account.
  • Secure: Users do not have to provide or manage passwords to access Amazon Business or Amazon Business pages such as Your account, Your orders or Business analytics.
  • Centralised authentication: If users leave the organisation, they cannot access Amazon Business through the company’s account any more.
  • One-click: Users have a seamless purchasing experience whether buying directly or using punchout (from buyer to supplier), without the need to provide passwords.
  • Consistent experience: Business customers typically have Single Sign-on enabled for other applications in their business. With Amazon Business Single Sign-on, they have a consistent experience.

You can set up Single Sign-on with your identity provider in Business Settings.
