Why Can't I Print an Invoice?
There are a few reasons why you may not be able to print an invoice from Your account.
Orders are Not Dispatched
We can't provide a VAT invoice for an order until it's dispatched. After your order is dispatched, you can find a printable version of your invoice in Your Account for eligible Amazon.co.uk orders.
For Payment by Invoice, you must transfer the purchase amount after you receive the delivery. See the invoice or the dispatch confirmation email for the bank details and the payment purpose (12-digit number).
Marketplace (including Prime-eligible items and Amazon Global Store) orders aren't eligible for VAT invoices unless the invoice was issued by Amazon Services Europe Sarl. However, you can print an order summary from Your Orders.
Prime Wardrobe Orders
For Prime Wardrobe orders, your invoice is created when we debit your credit or debit card. This process depends on which of the following happens first:
- You complete buyout by choosing to purchase the item or items you are keeping.
- You reach the end of your seven day try-on period.
To view or print your invoice, go to Your Orders and select Order Details. Then select Invoice under the order number at the top right and choose Print invoice. For more information about purchasing Prime Wardrobe items, see About Prime Wardrobe.
Amazon Global Store Items
Not all items purchased from the Amazon Global Store include VAT because in some cases, import VAT and customs duty is paid instead as described in the Amazon Global Store Terms & Conditions. Your carrier declares all imports on behalf of the delivery recipient.
Gift Orders
If your order was a gift order, you can't print an invoice from Your Account. However, if you need a VAT invoice for a gift order contact us, and we'll post one to you.
Orders Dispatched Before July 1, 2013
You can't print an invoice from Your Account for orders dispatched before July 1, 2013. If you need a copy of a VAT invoice for an order dispatched before this date (not for Marketplace orders), contact us.
Gift Cards
We can't provide itemised VAT invoices for gift cards. However, you can print an order summary for gift card orders from Your Orders.
