After a mindless waste of time each time I turned the printer on to try and get the printer to connect to Wi-Fi or to check why I was getting an error either that it was not subscribed to the ink subscription program or incompatible toner when I was subscribed to the ink program and the only inks I used was provided by HP, I was ready to sell the printer for parts or to add to the landfill if it attracted no buyers.

I finally found online HP confirmation that their inks that are from the membership subscription are not usable if the printer is not connected to wifi or if using USB cable connection.

Cancelling the subscription after the warranty ended was a good move, their customer service was abysmal, cheap inks but costly in terms of wasted time over and over again.

Reinstalling the printer driver anew and getting these toners have saved me the extra expense of buying another printer and potentially adding to the landfill. That was after receiving confirmation from HP of my ink subscription having ended.

I only need the occasional printing and printing in greyscale works for me.
