Having Alex always on tap is a real handy feature that most people dont realise this has.
You can then make your connected screen basically act like a large Echo show without the limitations associated with the Echo

Unfortunately I had numerous issue that appears to be same as everyone else. ie no Dolby Vision in 4K, no 4K video auto switching etcI bought the Fire tv cube and used to have a Fire Stick 4k and changed it due to constant WIFI issues with the Stick.Spent the past few weeks trying to get it to work properly with my Sony OLED 4K UHD TV which has HDCP 2.3 & Dobly Vision.Conclusion:1. Dolby Vision only works on HD (1080p) resolution.2. Video Resolution Auto only switches from HD to 4K first week and then you have to reset as error message comes up "unable to play 4K". To get 4K support for Netflix and Movies Anywhere you have to lock the resolution to 2160p manually in the setting, but this disables Dolby Vision and only displays HDR picture mode if the TV is set manually to HDR.Set up is almost automatically when first connected and powered on and integrates with the Amazon Echo system is seamless.For whatever reason 1080p video resolution is the default setting which interestingly is the only time Dolby Vision works. Even the cube's menu display uses Dolby Vision by default but that is also random.Changing video resolution to auto on Cube enabled Prime to switch to 4K resolution and use the correct HDR setting, but Netflix and Disney+ remained in HD ( displayed a message "This device does not support 4K playback" message under 4K content)I tried different high grade HIDMI cables and no difference. Took the Cube to a friends house where he has the 2021 Sony OLED tv . Same problems no Dolby Vision output on 4k.Amazon Customer service said it is a technical issue and they are working on it.My connection is to Virgin 200mb Fiber. 4k oled Sony with eArc HDMI ( 60Hz) connection to the Fire Cube
