Sorry I have only used to clear my wet room drain & it does a fabulous job. To clear the toilet I use bleach & water & that seems to work okay

Hi, ive checked the bottle & it says it can be used in all pipes & septic systems. On the front of the bottle it says Bathroom. It is very dangerous to wildlife, so you would need to be careful of pets. I only use half a bottle at a time & it does a fantastic job!! Its wonderful if you have a wetroom. Hope this helps!!

I don't see any reason why not. The only warning on the bottle, if I remember correctly, is not to use on a toilet. But a wet room is very similar to a shower. You can also buy like a metal sieve that goes over the outlet to stop anything going down it.
