I played few of steam games and it worked very well, I am not sure about the COD, however it should be working with it as windows is recognising it as an xbox controller

It's a embedded lithium battery, which is rechargeable. As for replacing it I suggest you get in touch with EASYSMX.

It could be changing what output it is? So when you press the middle button and it changes the position of the light. The dinput/xinput thing. Ive had that issue a few times and that has helped. Although i only have one pad, so not sure how it works with 2 pads
