Absolutely. It will cut through the plastic cleanly and is the correct size for a ring binder/file hardware.

Sorry not sure about that. But if it’s any help, my punch didn’t last very long punching through thin card. Basically it stopped punching cleanly after about 20 punched hole attempts.

I haven’t used it to go through plastic. I’ve used it to go through thin card. Perhaps you should direct your question to the supplier or manufacturer.

Regular hole punch size eg on an A4 punched pad. 5-6mm is my guess.

Although it will put a hole into the plastic I feel that the shrinking effect will have an impact on the hole by moving it with inconsistent shrinking or even change the size of the hole.

Sorry, I’ve only used it on card. Looking at the information on this product it seems more suitable for card or paper. It doesn’t mention material or leather.
