Answer:
The mat itself is very smooth and my version (L: 320x250x2mm) was packaged flat without marks of any kind. It rolls up nicely into a bag if that's what you're after; also the border is tightly stitched and makes it seem very unlikely that the top will peel off like those cheap "your picture here" mouse mats.

Answer:
Nope, comes rolled up in a tube, no issues with it not laying flat from being rolled up either. Great quality mat.

Answer:
I wouldn't recommend it as you could possibly melt the rubber and ruin the fabrics. What I tend to do is get a wipe or a smooth cloth and wipe off marks. Does the job perfectly fine. Wouldn't recommend scrubbing.

Answer:
I honestly don't use the pc enough, so its comfortable for me.

I can see people who use their mouse over extended periods of time would need a wrist rest.

Answer:
I've had this mat for about 6 months now, and i've found that a nail-brush does a pretty good job of getting most things off and out of the mat. It's just rigid enough to work, but gentle enough to not damage the surface (that i can see).

For tougher marks (the worst i've had on it is some drops of spilt hot chocola… see more

Answer:
No. It also collects crumbs and shows them up as does all black cloth.

You'll need to wipe the mat down with a damp lint free cloth every month or so to keep it looking pristine. Either that or not eat nor drink at your desk...

Answer:
Possibly because of the lower friction, try placing a piece of cardboard under the mouse mat to see if it helps. Also try lower DPI to see if it makes a difference. If it's a Razer mouse I think this have been an issue on loads of similar mouse mats.
