The gel is designed to conduct ultrasound energy waves deep into tissues. You need to apply the gel on the silver circle on the ultrasound machine. Hope this helps.

When you are using it the display is on the underside so if it pauses counting you can't tell. It doesn't beep. The instructions advise to keep it in contact or you can damage it.

It will shorten your recovery time. Remember, though, to rest and do the recommended exercises as well. Try putting a warm wheat bag over the area after treatment. It's a great product, but it's not magic.

I haven’t used it for shoulder bursitis but have used it for Achilles and hamstring tendinitis does a good job 👍
