If the yellow built up a coat that water would not remove, I used cotton wool and olive oil and patted it clean, then water, then dry ,as the yellow doesn't do the good job on top of oil. This was done at every nappy change, 3 -6 times a day.Hope this is clear , I found it wonderful. The white barrier cream hasn't the same strength as the yellow. see less Well I used this for my elderly husband , bed bound with Alzheimer's.He had bad bed sores until the Tissue Viability nurse in the hospital recommended the Yellow metanium ointment which I can recommend 100% after using it for his last few years at home.I used no soaps, cleansed by gently patting with warm water and cotton wool.Patting dry, then a coating of 'magic' yellow metanium ,using a little thicker on any sore. Answer:
No, I wouldn't use it. It forms a claylike skin ideal for skin damaged by moisture. Think it could dry your tattoo. Bepanthen is recommended for tattoos, if you can't use it, ask your local pharmacy or the tattoo artist for suggestions.

Answer:
Not too sure, but it’s a think yellow cream that stains almost everything. Drys skin out but does wonders on nappy rash.

Answer:
I don't have one but used it before and it's great. I think the best way it's to look at the key components and see if it's the same .
