Laurence King Publishing have two manufacturing sites, one in Europe and one in China. There is no difference on the image between the two bit there are significant quality issues on the Chinese version. It will say where it's made on the back of the box. Unfortunately, it's not possible to know in advance when buying online.
The site in Europe uses a blue back board with tight fitting pieces and vibrant colours. The quality of the poster and box is excellent.
The Chinese site use a thin white back board. The pieces fall apart very easily. A slight touch will break the area up. You can't assemble a section on another board and transfer it as it falls apart. The print on the jigsaw, poster and box aren't as good as the European version.
I received the Chinese version. It's very poor quality and was returned for a refund. I've done several in the LKP range. I highly recommend people avoid the Chinese version and only buy the European version. It's disappointing that a brand as good as LKP aren't doing proper quality control on the Chinese factories.
