1st - doesn't sound/feel cheap as my original joycons which also have a lot of problems when playing from a distance of more than 4 meters. They didn't rely on bit of glue, they actually used 8 screws, my PS4 controller uses only 4!! Looks and feels more like the Xbox1 controller (not because of the coloured buttons).
2nd - Really easy to connect, but you will need to follow the instructions precisely. Don't use the joy's to add it :)
3rd - attached a video of pressing the buttons and the plastic, no annoying noises and plastic is really hard. Feels nice and has all the pros of the originals.
Some people may find this as a down side, the button area is keen to take finger prints... but I don't really care as I love how shiny it is (many thanks to J C)... so does my son and it seems this is HIS new controller.
