About the Author
Review
We All Have Our Secrets combines a fiendishly twisty page turner with a story about who we are and what matters. Jane Corry's skill as a storyteller and natural empathy for her characters make this an unputdownable read. One of her best -- Emma Curtis, Invite Me in
Jane Corry is a master at building tension - by the final few chapters you'll be reading through parted fingers. The twists just keep on coming - until the breath-taking final chapter -- Celia Walden, Payday --This text refers to the paperback edition.

About the author

Jane Corry is a writer and journalist (Daily Telegraph and women's magazines) who worked for three years as the writer in residence of a high security male prison. This experience helped inspire her Sunday Times Penguin bestsellers 'My Husband's Wife', 'Blood Sisters', 'The Dead Ex', 'I Looked Away' 'I Made A Mistake', 'o Tell The Truth' and 'We All Have Our Secrets'. She has now sold over a million copies of her books world-wide.
Jane also writes short stories as well as a weekly digital column about being a granny for My Weekly. As well as this, she speaks at literary festivals all over the world. Many of her ideas strike during morning dog-jogs along the beach followed by a dip in the sea - no matter how cold it is!

Even the writing style and characterisation weren’t as polished and professional as in previous books and the franglais seemed contrived and wooden
Hopefully the next one will be back to standard
Emily is a midwife whose career is in jeopardy following a bad decision. Suspended while waiting for an official enquiry Emily returns to Willowmead House, her family home on the Cornish coast.
She is more than surprised when a beautiful young French woman answers the door. It turns out that her elderly father has engaged a new live-in carer, who Emily feels is overly familiar with her Daddy.
Emily is convinced that Francoise has a,sinister agenda and sets out to discover the truth….
Corry allows Francoise to have her say, which allows for a fuller perspective than if we just had Emily’s point of view. While there were certainly plenty of twists along the way, I felt that they emerged organically.
Overall, I found ‘We All Have Our Secrets’ an intriguing psychological thriller that I ended up reading in a single sitting as I just couldn’t put it down.
It’s a good way to while away the hours but I wouldn’t read it again.
as I wanted to find out more.Recommended.Jane Cory is a great author who I have read most of her books.
