Flimsy Kit Parts

This has got to be the most dreadful kit I have ever tried to put together. The supplied parts are flimsy and break very easily, especially when you try to take them off the sheet they come with. I gave up trying to put the valances on the canopy as they warped out of shape as soon as I took them off the fret. It is also a pity that the clear plastic for the canopy does not come cut to size. I would not recommend this kit as good as it looks in the pictures

On first insrpection, it appeared very good however, unfortunately when trying to separate each piece from the boards. the laser cuts were insufficient to prevent breakage of the more delicate parts, even when extreme care was taken.

I did manage to build this model but I had to make adjustments to the parts. The parts I was supplied with did not fit well which made assembly tricky. The only positive is that the completed model looks as rickety as a real canopy might!

Very flimsy parts and hard to get out of the molds, even with a fine scalpel!
some parts where already broken before I started, would have been better if the parts where already cut out completely!
I will probably be able to glue back together and make them work?

This is a realistic kit when finished but it's not an easy assembly. I'm an experienced modeller but the instructions for use are very basic. There's no information that the perspex sheet can be used for glazing the canopies.
