Not quite as good as Duracell batteries but very close, my wife uses these in her battery powered flickering candles and she’s happy with them. We use them in all tv remote controls, games and everything else one would use them for.

Well priced and that is another factor to look for when buying batteries some of the cheaper brands just don’t give the performance of the slightly higher priced batteries, buy cheap buy twice as they say and it’s true. How many children’s toys will come with batteries included, they’re not going to give out the best quality batteries are they!! buy these ready for Christmas and make sure you have good reliable batteries to keep the children happy.

Not sure if I have put the stars in the right place for battery life and longevity, but what I mean is the expiry date on the batteries is very long, but they don't last long at all in a small radio which requires two batteries. They need changing every four days. The price was good but not sure they are good value if I have to change so frequently.

I've been buying Varta batteries for many years, they never fail to please and providing you're willing to buy a largish batch (12+) they are usually available at a decent price. I haven't bought other brands of batteries for quite a few years so I cannot accurately compare them but the fqct that I haven't felt the need to do so acts as testament to how pleased I am with the Varta brand.

Excellent batteries. I got fed up of having to take my children's toys apart regularly to change the batteries but these seem to last much longer than most brands we've tried. They also seem more powerful than some duracell and energizer batteries as some of the toys are now brighter or louder than ever! I would recommend these to anyone who would like to change their batteries fast less frequently.

Having used now both the AA and AAA batteries from Varta, I will never use another brand again.
For the price you would expect the batteries not to last 5 minutes but these are as good if not better than Duracell, Energizer etc. They just keep on going!
Could not recommend more.
