This is just a pot-boiler- and it’s clear he ran out of ideas towards the end. A bit thin throughout, and surely more happened during his last Christmas than he mentions?
And the last few pages of acknowledgements to everyone including the boiler-room cat was shameless padding. What a shame.
Pocket sized, admittedly, but ‘unputdownable’ and I would suggest a great stocking filler or ‘secret Santa’ gift (especially for those friends working in Maternity!)
