2.0 out of 5 stars Cheap made
By Natalia on 29 October 2020
Just got my book on launching date and this is how it came like. Disappointed that it’s not like the other Mythos and Heroes editions with dust cover and better made. I can get books in better conditions in my local charity shop. Do not recommend.

1.0 out of 5 stars BOOK DAMAGED
By Amazon Customer on 29 October 2020
I’m so upset - I’ve just opened my parcel and my book is damaged. The corners are ruined and there’s a large scratch/scrape mark across the back cover.

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor Quality Hardback
By J Young on 29 October 2020
Review of the quality of the physical book received on release date, not of the written content.

The type of hardback was not of the same quality of the previous publications: Mythos and Heroes. I'm not sure what type of hardback this would be called in the publishing industry but it does not include a dust jacket.

Additionally, the edges of the book delivered looked knocked and tired. It appears uncared for prior to delivery.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic book, but the quality of the hardback is unacceptable.
By James on 9 November 2020
Obviously the quality of the production should not affect the score however, in this case the publishing unit needs to know this type of shoddy practice is not acceptable.

Minor wear and tear to the sides of the hardback, and a considerable crease/tear In the middle of the paper binding. I have absolutely no idea how this could have happened.

On topic, the book is fantastic. Fry is as erudite as ever. Just like the last two books, I couldn’t recommend anything better than this trilogy to a beginner who wants to get into Greek myth.

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor condition for a brand new book!!
By David Kerr on 30 October 2020
Very excited that this book has finally come out, however considering that this is supposed to be a brand new book I am very disappointed about the condition it arrived in!! Looks used, with scuffed corners and no sleeve! This was supposed to be a gift for someone else, but can’t really give it to them in this condition!
