I have type 2 diabetes. I have severe peripheral neuropathy. I can barely feel my feet, and my balance is affected. I also have COPD and struggle with walking; getting very out of breath. I’m also a chronic “back sufferer” What a wreck!!

I have been using my walking poles for years now and I am looking for a replacement because they start to degrade. I checked in stores and saw many new designs from leki and black diamond that are more than 50 pounds. In the past week, my hiking friend recommended me to check out Amazon for options and I saw these Trekology poles. I have not heard of the brand, but it was on sale so I decided to give it a try.The package arrived fast in 2 days. The poles were nicely packaged in their "zip-roller bag". I am impressed by the look and quality. The poles are lightweight, and the handle is extremely comfortable with adjustable wrist straps! Flip lock is easy to adjust.Pros:- The overall made is great. The package arrived fast in 2 days. The poles were nicely packaged in their "zip-roller bag". I am impressed by the look and quality. The poles are lightweight, and the handle is extremely comfortable with adjustable wrist straps! Flip lock is easy to adjust.

I've had them out all over Dartmoor the last couple of days and I couldn't be happier. The clamp mechanisms seem sturdy and the poles themselves can take my weight pulling myself up a few slopes.
Easy enough to shrink down and attach to a daysack when you want to do a bit of clambering, they have made a great replacement and I can finally get rid of the old ones!

Lightweight and sturdy, these have replaced an ageing set I had purchased in Germany a few years back. I had been looking for a while for replacements, but the ones I looked at were all expensive enough to make me hold on to my battered ones a bit longer!
