Removal was easy. On returning to our cars on the ferry, lots of people started removing them straight away, leaving all sorts of residue and many methods of removing it! Some tried running water, baby wipes, etc.
I left mine on the car and drove home with the headlights on. When arriving home, the eurolites were warm to the touch and peeled off easily. A quick spray with some pre-mixed car cleaning solution and a wipe with a microfibre and no indications that they were even on the vehicle!
When peeling, it was easy to almost peel the eurolites off, leaving g behind the adhesive layer. Just be careful that once you are ready to pull of entirely, you also are peeling the adhesive layer and you'll be fine.
Whilst they are not compulsory I would also recommend carrying the ' morning after breathalyser ' a yellow safety jacket. And - not kidding here - if you wear glasses a spare set. A legal requirement in France.
Oh the headlamp adaptors? Instructions are fiendishly hard to follow to put in the right place. Just do a you tube search for tips! Buy some. Cheap as chips and much less than an on the spot fine. Hope this helps.
They need to Get Their Act Together - that model has been out for a couple of years.
Most of the driving I did abroad was in daylight but had loads of very long tunnels to go through. I could easily see that my dipped beam was converted to the right hand side.
One of the pieces started to come loose after 10 days but remained in place for my whole 2and a half week tour.
It's a very good product and good value
